Clarion Pointe Sioux Falls Airport

Used to stay here a lot. No hot water, and gone are the days of being recognized as a diamond member. Had to ask the front desk agent if I got my points because she didn’t ask if I wanted points or a snack. Guess I’ll keep staying with the IHG brand. The night after this stay, the front desk lady at a holiday inn in Wisconsin said “thank you so much for being a platinum member”. That means a a lot. Thanks for recognizing us that travel a lot and don’t get the benefit of being at home all the time.

Rooms were a little rough and dated but to be expected with it being pet friendly. They are currently working on renovations and updates and coming along nicely. A pool was a bit chilly. Breakfast was good and Dawn May greated us chatted with us and made us feel right at home she and the other staff were great!

Updating and remodeling. No complaints currently second and third floors are finished. Working on pool all amenities and first floor. For truckers can park at flying J up the street or on the quiet street beside the hotel

This is nothing against the hotel. But beware, we gave the check in person our credit card, the person said there system was down so that person wrote down are credit card manually. We have never bought on line at Walmart and have never used are card at Walmart, we have had two charges for almost $400.00 on our card that we never use at Walmart

“Stay Away! Not Worth $160 or Even $60” The 1-star reviews are completely accurate. The room was filthy, with obvious stains on both the carpets and bedding—clearly not cleaned between guests. I found hair in the sinks and showers, which made it impossible to feel comfortable or even use the facilities. The smell in the room was unbearable, like a mixture of mold and stale air. For $160, I expected at least basic cleanliness, but this place was far from acceptable. There are much better options out there for the price. Avoid at all costs!

I was traveling across the US and stayed here one night. All the staff were great to me. The rooms might not be perfect but you have to take into consideration the price is very low compared to my other nights in different states. Nothing in my room was broken and I still got a hot shower and goods nights sleep. Great location right off i90 and walmart down the street. Thank you

The check-in area and bar appeared to be clean and maintained. However, the pet-friendly room we got was NASTY. Upon arriving, the carpet was heavily stained and wet in spots, which soaked the socks I planned on sleeping in because I would not let my feet touch that gross carpet. The AC worked, but it was extremely humid in the room. I didn't know if it was from the carpet or if the AC wasn't working properly. The walls were paper thin, and we heard the water running from the people above us like it was in our room. When I turned on the shower, globs of long black hair went down the drain, and it wasn't from us. The walls were damaged by prior occupants. It was close and convenient to I-90, so we stayed. We had a LONG day on the road and were extremely tired - we didn't have the time or energy to move rooms. I would not recommend this hotel, but the $10 burger was good.

Positive: Right off the interstate. Negative: I booked a double queen room and was placed in a king room. I had 3 kids with me under 5 so I just decided to put my 2 older kids on the pull out bed, I pulled it out and it had dirty sheets/blankets still on it and garbage all under the mattress.
