NillMy family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Austin North/Parmer Lane, and it’s easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had! From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. A special shoutout goes to Nicholas, the Operations Manager, who was outstanding. His professionalism, warmth, and dedication to ensuring every guest feels welcomed truly set the tone for our exceptional experience. The location is fantastic—conveniently situated just off I-35, it’s perfect for exploring Austin, with easy access to nearby attractions like The Domain, downtown, and Round Rock Sports Center. The combination of excellent service, pristine facilities, and a prime location made this stay unforgettable for my family. We felt genuinely cared for, and the thoughtful touches throughout our visit left a lasting impression. We can’t wait to return to Courtyard Austin North/Parmer Lane on our next trip to Austin!

NillI booked this hotel in advance and reached the hotel around 3pm. The front desk person told me no room is available and in front of me he called the housekeeping lady to check when the room will be ready. And I was told to wait for 5 to 10 mins. While I was waiting, I could see that the person was providing room keys to new guests. After waiting for almost 40 mins I checked why the room is not yet ready and the front desk person was so rude and started talking with attitude saying if I don’t want to wait, I can go to a different hotel. Such attitude is not healthy for someone who works In a brand like Marriott. Being a platinum member, I have stayed in many Marriott properties but this treatment was something new and unacceptable. For sure will never come back to this hotel.

NillAlmost had to have one of us sleep on the floor because they incorrectly booked our room. I made the reservation for three people - a king bed and a pullout. When we got to our room there was no pullout. They tried to blame it on me but i showed them the reservation which was correctly booked. They were rude, said they were sold out of all rooms and that there was nothing they could do. We canceled our room and are HOPING to get a refund, but they said even that isn’t certain. We had to book a shitty hotel down the street last minute for way too much money because of them and couldn’t have experienced worse service than what we received here. Couldn’t recommend this hotel any less.

NillI arrive late. They're very nice. I did not book the room right and I booked it for two weeks out. They were very nice to accommodate me and to tell me how to go about changing it with Expedia and process was smooth. They were very nice about it. The rooms were very nice. They were clean. The whole facility was very clean. Got up the next morning and had to get off to where I needed to debate, but it was a very nice hotel.

NillDecent location and 2017 style courtyard vibe. They renovated recently - but you can tell this franchise owner does the bare minimum. No water in the gym, the ac wall unit rattles like crazy at night, and I think this is one of the few Marriot’s that still uses magnetic swipe key cards. The card deactivated daily - so it was a fun up and down the elevator to get the key reprogrammed after going up to learn it didn’t work.

NillThis hotel is not good. The rooms are gross and have stains everywhere. The heater in our room smelled like hot wires to the point we turned it off and opened the door in fear of a fire. The staff was unfriendly and seemed to be put off by anything we asked. At one point, I had to go to my car to get a blanket for my daughter (thanks to the broken heater) and forgot my key. When I tried to come in, Jared (whom I just spoke to about said heater) stared at me telling me I needed a room key to open the door. Thankfully some other guests walked out or I might not have been able to get back in. Management needs to take a serious look at their property as this place really falls below Marriott expectations. By the way, there are ZERO amenities for Bonvoy Elite members. Granted I’m only a Gold, but typically I at least get a bottle of water and thanked for my loyalty. Not at this property…

★★★★★Positive: Great location, great amenities, spacious room for the price Negative: Pool could've been a bit warmer, as it is an indoor pool and it was winter months, December/January. Also dislike that the breakfast was claimed to be complimentary but was a la carte. I would've picked a different hotel if I knew beforehand.

NillAbsolutely terrible. 0 stars. This hotel is dirty. Believe the negative reviews. I should have. We arrived late night so basically got into room and settled into bed. Woke up the next morning to find small tiny bugs crawling on nightstand right by the head of the bed. The bugs were crawling and going into the cracks of the drawer. I immediately freaked out and googled bedbugs. Bedbugs can live on wood dressers not just beds. I called the front desk immediately. The "head of housekeeping" was sent up. This man brought a flash light saw one bug and started googling what bedbugs looked like. He said he wasn't sure if it was or not but that we were being moved rooms. I was furious. One if it is bed bugs I just spent the entire night sleeping in the bed. And 2 how do you send someone up who is just going to Google things like I can. What am I suppose to do take bedbugs back home with me? I called the front desk again and the girl I spoke with was very kind and apologized. She said she was waiting for her manager to get out of a meeting to complete a refund for the the night. And I would be hearing from the manager soon. Mind you this was night 1 out of 4. I got back to the hotel around 4pm and still had not been contacted by management. I called the front desk again and the guy I spoke with had no idea about the situation but said he would speak with the manager. I received a call from Donna the assistant guest manager. Donna said she was not aware of the situation. Donna was very quick to dismiss my concerns and said that they ran an "eco report" and it wasn't bedbugs it was "sweet water ants" because there was something sticky on night stand. Again mind you we had gotten in that night quickly went to bed so not sure what was sticky on night stand if room had been properly cleaned prior to our stay. I asked Donna for a copy of the report to which she initially agreed but one was never recieved. When I asked how the refund for the night was going to be processed. Donna became rude and argumentative stating there would be no refund that it wasn't bed bugs and they moved us to a new room "thats policy." I informed Donna that irregardless my 2 year old and my self shouldn't have had to sleep with bugs crawling by our head and it was completely disgusting. Donna again dismissed my concerns and rudely said that a refund was not approved and best she could do was "put some points onto my account" I will never stay in this hotel again so I asked what the point were suppose to do and again Donna very rudely said "well they won't get you a free night if that's what your asking" I am just appalled at how I was treated and dismissed. When paying over $100 a night for a room I shouldn't have to sleep with disgusting bugs by mine and my child's head. There were also other things that were not fully cleaned in the new room, counter surfaces filled with dust, weird dirt makings on the ceiling and shower. But again I cannot get over the bugs. And I still am not convinced they were not bedbugs as no eco report was ever provided to me. The photos are not the best but I tried to photograph the bugs however they quickly burrowed into the cracks. Disgusting place with rude management.
