NillThis place was new and nice a few years ago and has gone downhill. The cleanliness is a definite red flag. Corners of the shower are gross, some substance on the nightstand I’m afraid to find out what it is, walked across the carpet without shoes on and had hair and all other types of who knows what on my feet. Beds are sagging and you sink into them. If Corpus Christi had better options I would stay there but there aren’t many reputable hotels to choose from.

NillBe careful staying at this hotel. I parked directly in front of the entrance where two cameras were facing my truck and my truck was still broken into and the tail lights were stolen. I’ve been asking for the camera footage for three days now with nothing received yet. Hoping they do the right thing. Update 1: it’s now been over a week and they have yet to send me the video footage from these cameras. The GM, Chris, promised I would have them by Thursday of last week. I’m about to have the police go get the footage from the hotel. Update 2: still no video footage provided. I can only assume at this point the management might be involved in issues going on at this hotel. I would not stay here if you have other choices. If the hotel does the right thing in providing the video footage I will provide another update. Update 3: they never produced the video footage from my stay 3 weeks ago. I came down for another baseball tournament this past weekend (did not drive my truck) and the hotel gave away my room. Due to Spring Break and a music concert everything in the area was sold out. I booked my room 2 weeks in advance. We didn’t check in until 9:45pm due to baseball games and when we arrived they had literally given away our room bc we didn’t respond to an email they sent at 1pm that same day asking if we were still planning to stay with them. It’s obvious they wanted to upgrade and gouge someone else on pricing since every hotel was at 100% occupancy. I had an actual reservation number and am a Marriott member. This hotel ownership and management is the worst I have ever experienced. They didn’t even have the decency to call me. They only emailed.

NillNice rooms, nice location. Front desk staff leaves room for improvement. I booked a double queen room on a high floor with a Bay View. when I checked in, we got a king on the top floor. When I complained, I was told I booked a king room. They changed it and gave me a double queen on the second floor behind the lobby entrance with its roof blocking the bay view out one window and a large palm 🌴 blocking the view. We are Platinum Elite members and were not acknowledged as such. I had to ask for double points instead of being asked which perk I preferred and the welcome bag, which is a perk was not even offered until I asked for my points perk and I still haven't been acknowledged for my Platinum Elite status which is a requirement. Of course, I realize I interrupted the two of them during their personal conversation.

NillAfter staying 10 days across town at the Hampton Inn this place is the Ritz Carlton. Great place. Big rooms. Friendly staff. Close to the water. Walking distance to a bunch of nice, and some meh, restaurants. Not overly familiar with the area. If I had a reason to visit for other than work, I would stay here. Did not have an opportunity to try breakfast or any other amenities other than the laundry service. A small bag of undies, socks, a couple of shirt and shorts was $15. Nicely folded and returned the same day. Room was very clean and bed comfy.

NillAs soon as we walked in we were welcomed and felt the kindness. Miranda from the front desk was truly amazing and answered all my questions. Mirandas service with me and my daughter was above and beyond. I thanked her so much. I appreciate her!

NillIt’s very upsetting when I checked in I asked about using the washer machines they said as long as we give them cash we can get change for quarters to use there laundry machines. When I pulled money from the atm and gave it to the front desk asking if I can get change in quarters she then informed me no I would have to wait till the morning to get quarters. This is frustrating as we are only staying one night and have wet beach clothes. I came down later asking her what time in the morning will they have change she then informed me she didn’t know it just depending when a manager gets in. It seems every time I stay here there is problems with using there laundry machines. It would have been nice to know this from the moment we checked in instead of saying we can use there atm and get cash then ask them for change.

NillWish I could leave a better review, but I can't. The staff was very nice. The hotel lobby was clean and fresh looking, but that's about the end of it. The ac in the room is horribly loud. The traffic noise is even worse all night long. Made a few requests when we booked and none were fulfilled, including a room with an ada bathroom as the most important request. We made it work. Wanted a high floor as we selected a "bay view" room with an increased cost, only to have no real view of the bay itself, just part of the hotel blocking from our 2nd floor room. I guess it counts as a bay view tho but idk. The room looked clean, but corners were dirty, the window had hand prints, the edges of the shower were dirty, and just wasn't a marriott "feel." Many other hotels in the area to try next trip.
