Sea Shell Inn Motel - Corpus Christi Beach

Horrible place , we saw part of the parking garage fall onto a vehicle. And all they did was put tape up to keep u from walking under. They wouldn't allow music at 8 pm but the restaurant next door has loud music until 12 am . They had leaks and we were told to brush our teeth and wash hands in kitchen sink ., cause they wouldn't repair. Then we were told to empty the trash can when it filled up with water.. And when u asked for any help with anything the 2 guys would get super upset. There were roaches as well. No pots and pans here for the kitchenette. Mold in all the vents. It's just gross here . We paid Thursday til Monday. And it was just filthy

Great location. Walked to Fajitaville next door. Watched the sunset on the beach. Shared a fire with another couple. It's not The Hilton but affordable. There aren't any dishes, utensils, pots, or pans. So if you plan on using the kitchenette, you will need to bring your own.

I was charged a 50.00 fee after we left because of wine stain on sheets. I don’t drink. Then was told it was blood on mattress. I did change the sheets that’s how I found the blood. Yes I took pictures. Not my blood. Then fire alarm not working the other half of fire alarm in cabinet. The shower curtain had red mold and nasty! Hair and whiskers in sink and shower. This is my opinion and my opinion only how many people have paid that 50.00 for that stain?

Rooms were just OK. It's old so you'd expect what you get. Could use a good cleaning, maybe wash the walls and doors to get hand marks off. Ac/heater vents haven't been cleaned in a while. Location is the best part.

The location is fantastic - right on the beach. The attendant was very friendly at check in. The rooms are very outdated and they are unfortunately, dirty. There was no housekeeping being done at all with our 4 day stay. We had to ask for more towels several times. We wanted a place to sleep, so we made this work. We were exploring the city most of the day and evening so staying in the room was not a huge concern as again we just wanted a place to sleep not hang out. It is an outdated property and things like the steps are dangerous as they have chipped tiles with signs that they are not responsible for any injuries. There are some fun restaurants and bars in close proximity and walking the beach each morning is a plus! The gas station around the corner is very friendly & where we went each morning to grab our coffee.

Ok, keep in mind this is a BUDGET location on north beach. First floor does not mean ground floor. This is a very old property and she has seen some things. The room was clean, and the staff was helpful. It was a wonderful time. Will go back.

Really dingy. I did NOT stay here. Once I saw the place, I started up the stairs, everything was rickety. I left. Note, I'm a single adult male. I would never bring a family to this place. The pay window is like a seedy motel on TV. Tiny windows that you can't see thru.

We stayed here last minute after the Airbnb we booked had burned down. We really weren’t expecting much honestly, given the price and the reviews. We were beyond satisfied! It wasn’t the nicest or cutest hotel we’ve stayed in, but it was well worth the price! The room was clean and smelt good, located right on the beach with a beautiful view of the ocean and the USS Lexington (beach was never crowded, only a family or two at a time), the pool was clean, and the worker was awesome. Also, the room we got had an electric stove and fridge that worked which was handy. We will definitely be staying here again.
