The Brownlow House

I attended a Christmas event at The Brownlow House and I was blown away from the moment I accidentally tried to park in the wrong area!! After a VERY HARD day at work I really needed the win of being escorted to a very close by parking spot instead of ushered across the street to where I was supposed to be! I instantly fell in love with the charm of the house and asked if I could go upstairs to look around and be inspired for my current projects. The host graciously aloud me a quick k tour!!!! Oh MY GOODNESS, the rooms are to die for!! The charm, warmth, decor… everything top notch!!! The next time I need a get away, this is the guest place I will look… even though I live 5 miles away!! Thank You Brownlow House for being an amazing HOST!!

Coach is so sweet! My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night, and he was so accommodating, and really enjoyed his position with the Brownlow House. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning was so good. The house was refurbished so well, and really kept with the original aesthetic of the home. 10/10 would stay here again. Room was comfortable. We went to dinner at the Italian place next door, and it was delicious.

We had a warm welcome by Mr Coach despite arriving several hours early, he helped with our bags and put us at ease. I was there to tour UNT with my son. Very very clean and charming room, I enjoyed the old fashioned bathtub and breakfast as well. Only a few blocks from the main square where we had dinner. Thank you Mr Coach and we enjoyed our stay!

We used The Brownlow House for the rehearsal dinner, as a place for the bride and her attendants to get ready for the wedding that included brunch, for bridal photos and the bride and groom spent their wedding night here. Everything was perfect and made a special occasion truly wonderful! Whitney took care of everything for us and made very helpful suggestions. Coach was there to help in any way needed and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The food was wonderful! This place is a gem!!

We hosted a brunch for about 30 people at the Brownlow House, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for our event. Whitney, the owner, was in touch several times before the event to coordinate and check on our preferences, and went above and beyond from beginning to end. She even handled some loose ends for me after the event had ended. She was available by email, phone, and text to communicate regarding last minute details. The staff helped our vendors get set up before we arrived, and our guests were greeted and shown where to park as they pulled up. The space, especially the outdoor space, is serene. The photos don’t do it justice. The food was great, and everything was tailored to accommodate the preferences and allergies of our guests. If we throw another event in Denton, the Brownlow House will be our choice.

We could not say enough great things about our wedding at the Brownlow House! The house, yard, and location are stunning, and the decor was so beautiful that we didn’t need any extra pieces. The venue fit our ~50 guests very comfortably, they all loved it! Small enough to be intimate, but big enough to be fun and full of life! Whitney made the entire planning process and event so easy and made us feel very welcome and loved, and her staff were incredibly helpful. Absolutely perfect venue for a low maintenance, no-fuss couple! Thank you Whitney and the Brownlow House! -The Jameses

I am pretty sure this was my first experience staying at a Bed and Breakfast- I am so happy to say it was also the best experience. I stayed here for my wedding weekend and it was perfect because it felt like I was staying at home with all of my bridesmaids. The hosts make you feel so warm and welcome and are always there to cater to what you ask. AND THE FOOD WAS AMAZING - better than some fine restaurants I’ve been to in Dallas like WOW. I would want to just go back every weekend for a brunch to have more. Overall the stay was perfect and was way more than I could have ever imagined to spent my bachelorette weekend before the big wedding day. I would definitely recommend and will definitely want to go back for the food! Thank you so much .

What a great experience! Brought to this bed and breakfast for my birthday and was treated like a queen. Beautiful architecture and ambience. The breakfast was divine, most tasteful omelette I think I’ve ever had. Customer service was above and beyond. It’s really a catered experience. Would be a beautiful place for a wedding. Loved my birthday over night stay. It was one to remember!
