Review Clayton House Motel! 😡 1. Put in room that wasn’t ready. 2. Mastresses cut open like drugs in it 3. Bedding torn and lighter holes 4. No key to the room. They change the locks. 5. Shower drips constantly 6. Toilet doesn’t flush 7. Bugs! Roaches 8. Manager LIED about price, threatened to call police, and incredibly rude 9. Room smells of cigarette smoke 10. Tv on top of the microwave 3 different rooms on one day. Each room had a different problem. Very bad mold buildup water on one side of the sink different rooms have cold water different room got hot water no phones in any room no fire detectors And they gave us a room. They didn’t have a microwave. We had to borrow one from a Neighbor it was just terrible Place need to be checked out. safety hazard I really can’t believe the state hasn’t came in and shut them down.

Looking for a room and came across this place. Called to ask availability and pricing and the front desk lady was respectful and pleasant. This is an old motel and as such I wouldn't expect a whole lot. As far as the rooms. The a/c worked great, mediocre TV, has a micro fridge and a tiny microwave and that's the only good part. I would not recommend this place unless you have no choice. The price is not worth the stay. What to expect: does not have good insulation around doors (so a lot of outside noise), black mold, leaky shower, concave areas of the ceiling, broken mirror, rotted wood, rusty pipes, rust in tub, needs a good cleaning/painting, very old mattress and furniture, roaches are visible, says no smoking but can clearly smell smoke and this was a single daily room.

Disgusting. I had an unfortunate event that led me here for a short period of time, but looking back, I think staying in my car would have been better. My husband and I both got completely bit all over by bedbugs, and that's just the beginning. Be careful if you absolutely must stay here. The roaches might carry you away!

If i could give zero stars i would this place is roach infested. Rats and mice come out from underneath the stairs as soon as night falls. The mice play in the hallways and the rats scratch at your door at night as if you own a pet that needs inside.

Carpet was super dirty. The toilet was broke half the time. The microwave went out and I asked for a new one and they didn't bring a microwave. The shower didn't have a shower head to we're the water flooded the bathroom. People knocking on doors at one am.. being loud and inconsiderate to people asleep. And they didn't do a job housekeeping while I had my stay. And the phone didn't work.

For $70 you can have. Roaches all over. Beds with stains all over them. Carpet with holes, and so much more. I would not recommend.

I once rented a room here needed it for a week they showed us a room before I paid then told me it wasn't a weekly room and was a higher price it didn't look bad though so I said fine give me the other room upon opening the door the carpet appeared to be moving the roaches where everywhere except for back in the car thats where I slept the person working told me they couldn't give me a refund and the manager refused to give me all of .my money back is not worth the money you save management was less than helpful as management was less than helpful as dirty hypodermic needles and a glass pipe on the ground by the ice machine, dirty hypodermic needles, and a glass pipe on the ground by the ice machine

Roaches are everywhere, don't stay at this place.
