NillI just got kicked out of a hotel for the first time lol. This hotel is run down, old, and outdated. The staff is extremely rude! Thank god I didn’t spend my hard-earned money here! My company booked me a room here. It was time for check out and these people barged into my room while I was butt naked. No excuse me, no knock, or my apologies. Didn’t say a word. Once I got dressed I opened the door and nobody was there. Of course, they called the room. And I explained to her my company is making another reservation to extend the stay for another night. ABSOLUTELY no customer service!!! “Well, I don’t have a reservation. You need to vacate the premises now! You have 15 minutes” and hung up on me. This lady was extremely rude!!! As soon as she hung up my company advised me they already made a reservation. I went downstairs, gave her the key, and walked out. Of course, she had a fake smile after she was extremely rude to me. And said, “I guess no reservation”. So I stood outside waiting for a Lyft and talked to my driver leader. She came outside to eavesdrop on my call. And heard every word that came out of my mouth. And I stated to my driver leader while she was standing there. “I just got kicked out of this hotel” and he thought I was joking. NO! I’m dead serious. “This lady is extremely rude! Told me to vacate the property, and gave me 15 minutes to leave. Didn’t bother to look at the reservation or look to see if I had one. Please cancel the reservation to extend and book me across the street at the Fairfield Marriott” and he did just exactly that! I also informed my employer to no longer do business with this hotel! I understand people have to do their jobs and I’m not the type to complain. But I am going to be 100% real and upfront. This hotel is run down. There’s no need for them to be this rude to guests. It’s roach-infested, water takes like 20/30 minutes to get hot. And the beds are super hard!!! I even switched beds to see if there would be a difference and NO! If you have a couple extra dollars. Please book across the street at the Fairfield Marriott! Much nicer updated rooms, soft and clean beds, front desk is extremely nice. She helped me make sure I got my points on the room. And it’s closer to everything else in this area. Food, shopping, etc. plus you can watch whatever streaming service on the TVs! And what’s even crazier is I liked Comfort Inn and Suites. But after today I will no longer be giving them my business. I will be booking with Marriott Hotels from now on.

NillWas in town for personal matters. Maybe it's not a fair review but the place looks run down. Never got a gut reaction like this before from just walking in the door. Construction / remodeling debris laying about the outside of the building. Walked in floors were dirty. Furniture stained. Trim was horribly painted with gloss black paint that looked like it could fall off at any minute. Walls were dingy and souled. Never even got to the room. If this was what the lobby was like why would anyone want to stay there. We got our money refunded since this was an online reservation and gladly paid the 20 dollar cancellation fee. I do not recommend this hotel. Take your money elsewhere.

NillThe lobby was pretty warm and smelled stale and a bit moldy. The room was nice and big though and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom door and door to the hall both needed oiling. Squeaked. Decent breakfast. Friendly staff. Looks like the rooms have been updated some but the public areas could use a refresh as well.

NillI don’t know what to say than “don’t go here” You guys would agree that if you find two cockroaches in a room, the other rooms would have them too. At least the cleanliness standard of this hotel is bad ( way below standard ) The floor was dirty, that I had to put shower cap on my feet; bedding stuff is dirty just like the photos attached. I payed for 3 nights but I left in less than 2 hours after checking in. returned my card and have the front checked me out. I’d rather switch hotel than switching room. And the front is saying I wouldn’t get refunded. So you decide. This is my first visit to Texas and I shouldn’t even have payed for this hotel.

NillAbsolutely disgusting experience. I should’ve known something was off when I called the front desk and he immediately hung up on me. From the old pizza boxes in the hallway to waking up with ants everywhere and bites on my neck and legs. Niece had bites too. Yellow stains on the bed and greasy handprints on the headboards. You couldn’t even see out of the window it was covered in handprints and grime. Never have I stayed in a place as nasty as this. Our door wouldn’t even shut it had to be slammed closed. Most of the doors look like they have been broken into with actual pieces of the door missing. The water offered in the lobby was lukewarm with old soggy lemons in it. Probably been sitting there all day when we rolled in at 10pm. There was trash everywhere. The one single working vending machine only had soda so there wasn’t any water to drink unless I used the dirty faucet or got in my car and drove to get some. When we brought all of this to the front desk he looked at us like we were crazy. Didn’t even apologize just told us the manager would call. Couldn’t even get a discount on the filthy room. 0/10 please PLEASE if you see this, choose somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

★Positive: "" Negative: BED BUGS!!! And refusal to refund the room! Front desk was rude as if I should be at fault. The outside environment of the hotel was sketchy to begin with, the smell of the lobby was mixture of curry and mold. For $---, I expect it to at least be clean.

NillI wish I could give this property 0 stars, the entire experience was terrible. We originally booked for 3 nights and due to weather had to change to 2 nights instead. At check in, I was told that we had 2 reservations under my name and that the property could not do anything because I booked with Expedia. I proceeded to contact Expedia and MIKE at the front desk was extremely rude to my Expedia agent and refused to make any exception even after the Expedia agent explained they did not even have a reservation for me EVER under the second confirmation number. Mike tells my Expedia agent only a manager can handle these situations and they would be back on Monday. When I hung up with Expedia I told Mike that I would call back on Monday to speak with the manager and he tells me that HE IS THE MANAGER, it didn’t matter who I talked to, they would not make any exceptions. Mike proceeded to tell me they would have to check me in & charge for both because I didnt cancel my non existent reservation with Expedia by 4pm that day. At this point, being 4 months pregnant, I told him I didn’t care, to do whatever, that I just wanted to go to my room. Mike continued to explain/argue with me when I just wanted to go to my room. He ultimately ended up making me cry with no apology and only silent treatment after. Terrible customer service and rooms are disgusting. Never stay here. They will only scam you out of your money and treat you poorly.

NillHotels in Denton are overpriced anyway, and this is a great example of how you do not always get what you pay for. It’s right between two red roofs and has been converted from another chain. They tried to make some cosmetic updates, but it’s hit or miss. First, the air unit is not connected to the wall controller. The ac was not on when we got there so we turned it down. It got hot overnight but said 60. I reported it. It stayed prob 75-77 ish and wasn’t unbearable but not cool. There is mold on the shower curtain and tub stall. There are hundreds of dead bugs in the light tray. The bed sinks in the middle bit was otherwise comfy. The sheets are nice and soft. Good pillows. Breakfast was good. There is an indoor hot tub and pool that were clean enough. Do not come here expecting to do business because the internet is awful. The worst part is that if you book through a third party, they will charge you $150 for incidentals. It’s not a hold - they charge and then say they will refund 3-5 days. I’ll be watching. They’re not nice about the 3rd party booking and therefore won’t do any reparations for their hotel problems.
