★★The small lodging was clean, and the water was hot. Alpacas and waterfowl dwelled on the property. The keypads, door, and gate worked smoothly. However, the bathroom did not have a place for makeup or toiletries, and the creaking bed was a sinkhole, sagging in the middle. The toilet was the smallest and shortest I've ever sat upon. The dog barked all night, and traffic from a six-lane highway contributed to the disagreeable noise. The only stand to place luggage blocked access to one side of the bed. The adjacent U-Haul lot was visible. We booked two nights, but left after one night to stay at a much nicer, less expensive Hampton Inn.

NillFantastic hotel stay. All the animals were friendly, and whenever we had questions they responded very quickly and were always super polite. Would definitely come back.

NillMy husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here 3 years ago (thanks Mom and Dad for thinking to have it here!) but didn't stay overnight. We returned this weekend for our anniversary. This was a wonderful place to stay! We stayed in the Capote cottage, which was comfortable and super cute. We loved getting to sit on the porch and watch the animals in the pond. The ducks were very friendly, and even went on a walk with us. The Alpaca Experience was a huge highlight of the weekend. It was such a joy to get to feed and hug the animals. Breakfast was delicious. Jim was hilarious and so kind! His hospitality made it feel like we were spending time with a friend, even though we just met. God willing, we will be back!

NillWhat a gorgeous place it is! Last weekend, we had alumni weekend and reunion celebration there. Each and everyone of us had fabulous time together. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and walked around the farm and fed the duckings. The Regal Lama and Alpacas were all adorable and welcoming. The stay was not only entertaining, but also educational. All in all, it was one of the mostly memorable weekend and reunion. I would highly recommend it in a heart beat.

NillTrip and stay 2. Cleaning ladies between dropping everything and non stop loud talking, very rude. Then the dog. Can you get one that only barks all day when e are not here ? The ac unit I found drowns out both dog and loud cleaners. Room number 2 is very small. Probably great for 1 guest at a time.

NillMr.Jim was very fun and cool to be around! He takes great pleasure and pride into making sure everyone is accommodated and is a great person and host! Our room was wonderful it reminded me so much of my grandmothers house in the country and the scenery and vibes were so peaceful and relaxing. My husband and I left recharged and feeling closer to each other. The Alpaca experience was one of a kind and a once in a life time experience. I recommended you read the books about the start of everything as Mr.Jim and his family makes you feel very welcome. We had a great time and will be back.

NillMy husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. We had such a wonderful time. Jim is a great host - talking to him is like chatting with an old friend. He does an amazing job ensuring that everything is perfect for your stay. He even got us dinner reservations at a wonderful local restaurant including a complimentary appetizer. We loved visiting with the alpacas, the great pyrenees, and especially the really friendly cats. Our cabin was comfortable, cozy, and private. It felt like we were in our own little world. It snowed the night of our stay, and sitting in the hot tub in the snow was the perfect way to spend our evening. This was probably the most relaxing place I've ever stayed. I'd recommend it to anyone who loves animals and nature and is looking for a place to get away from it all without having to worry about anything.

NillWe had an amazing stay at the Alpaca ranch! The location is quite private, so it's ideal for a calm, relaxing trip. We spent almost a whole morning with all the animals around the farm. It's a truly perfect stay for anyone wanting to go to Dallas but who still wants a good amount of peace in their day.
