Stayed in Room 719 as pictured. Room was very clean and well put together. Noise was not an issue as the HVAC system drones any other noise out. Water pressure is a little low but does the job. Staff is very kind and helpful. Location is amazing if you’ve got any business downtown. Would recommend and definitely stay again.

I had a wonderful experience here, our room was just wonderful. Loved the view, have stayed several times before, prices are perfect. Front desk had such a nice young lady helping my husband and I. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a days to get away or you’re visiting.

I recently stayed at the Marriott Courtyard El Paso Downtown/Convention Center in El Paso, Texas and encountered a series of alarming failures that fell far below the standards expected from a Marriott property. As a loyal Bonvoy member, I’ve come to rely on Marriott’s reputation for exceptional customer care and seamless stays. Unfortunately, this experience was anything but.||Basic Service Failures|Before our arrival, I requested a crib through the Bonvoy app. The hotel confirmed they received the request and assured me it would be arranged. However, when we arrived, there was no crib in the room. My husband had to go to the front desk twice over the course of two hours before a crib was finally delivered. When I expressed my frustration in person, the front desk staff offered only an insincere and dismissive apology.||Additionally, I requested housekeeping services three times during our stay, before housekeeping services were rendered. The shower drain was also clogged, and despite asking for maintenance multiple times, this issue was never resolved.||For a company that markets itself as a leader in hospitality and guest satisfaction, the lack of follow-through on even basic requests was astonishing. ||Reservation Modified Without Notice|The most infuriating issue occurred just 2 days into our 7-night stay. The morning after the 2nd night of our stay, hotel housekeeping came bursting through our door without a knock. Shortly thereafter, I received a phone call from the front desk informing me that our reservation had ended. When I explained I had booked a long-term reservation for 7 nights, not 2 nights, the front desk staff insisted it was our responsibility to fix the issue by rebooking through the Bonvoy app at a higher rate. The staff also claimed there was nothing they could do and offered no explanation for how our reservation had been inexplicably shortened.||When I called Bonvoy customer care, the agent informed me someone at the front desk had modified my reservation without authorization. The agent directed me back to the hotel front desk for a resolution and created a complaint case ticket number for me to reference. Upon returning to the front desk, I found the staff watching a show on her phone, completely inattentive. After attempting to get her attention twice, I requested to speak with the manager but was told they were not available.||I showed the front desk staff an email confirmation of my 7-night stay and relayed my phone conversation with the Bonvoy customer care agent. The front desk staff member again insisted it was unlikely she could help me. However, after a few mouse clicks and keystrokes, she restored the reservation to the original dates and rate. The lack of accountability and care throughout this process was absurd. This interaction demonstrated not only poor customer service but also an unwillingness to assist until pressed.||General Manager & Bonvoy Communication Breakdown|After I returned home from traveling, I was able to contact the hotel’s general manager on the phone. I discovered that Bonvoy customer care had never submitted my complaint case to him. Despite reporting my concerns throughout my stay, this was the first time the general manager had heard about any of them.||The general manager’s response to the issues I described was generally defensive. He then offered me a meager 5,000 points and one night credited to my account. While I appreciated the acknowledgment, this resolution felt grossly inadequate considering the stress, inconvenience, and repeated service failures. Adding to the frustration, Bonvoy customer care stated they were unable to escalate my case, stating that property management has the final say.||Final Thoughts|Traveling with a baby during the holidays is challenging enough without having to deal with a frustrating series of mistakes and apathetic responses from staff. These issues are not isolated incidents—they point to deeper operational and service gaps. For travelers considering this hotel, I strongly recommend exploring alternative accommodations.

Just stayed here 3 nights. Location is great and within walking distance of nice restaurants and festivities. Staff were nice and accommodating. The room was modern and quiet . My only gripe is they advertise their outdoor pool is heated, but I put my hand in and it was really cold. Their business center computer wasn’t working, but they printed documents for me with pleasure. I didn’t visit the coffee/restaurant.

I'm staying at hotels 21 days a month working in different areas around the country this is a good location with excellent views. BUT the beds are hard as a rock add pillows are not comfortable at all I can't wait to check out tomorrow I've only slept a couple hours in 2 days. I'm constantly tossing and turning even after taking sleeping pills it still doesn't work I will be switching over to IHG hotel chains starting tomorrow I never have a problem with them.

Not a great experience. If you are a sensitive sleeper, I would completely avoid this hotel. 3 sides out of 4 face the busy interstate. It was so loud; I had to change rooms 3 times! The parking garage is also $18 per day and very small spots. Staff is rude and do not want to be there. Rooms are outdated and you are lucky if you have working plugs! Would never stay here again or recommend it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in downtown El Paso, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The location was perfect—just steps away from a beautiful park that offered a serene escape from the bustling city. The park was well-maintained, with plenty of walking sidewalks, picnic areas, and green spaces that made for a lovely morning stroll. One of the highlights of my stay was how close the hotel was to a variety of fantastic restaurants. From casual eateries to upscale dining, there was something for every palate. I particularly enjoyed a local Tex-Mex restaurant that served some of the best enchiladas I've ever tasted! Additionally, the proximity to the baseball park was a major plus. I was able to catch a game during my stay, and the atmosphere was electric. The park itself was clean and well-organized, making for a delightful evening out with friends. The hotel itself was modern and comfortable, with friendly staff who made me feel at home. My room was spacious and clean, providing a great view of the city. The amenities, including the fitness center and rooftop pool added to the overall positive experience. In summary, my stay in downtown El Paso was fantastic, thanks to the combination of a great hotel, beautiful park, excellent dining options, and the nearby baseball park. I would highly recommend this area to anyone looking for a vibrant and enjoyable getaway!

I suffered an act of discrimination while checking in, the lady at the front desk ask me for mi ID, even though she knew I was a bonboy member, and I paid in advance for the room. However she was very insisting in me provide her with a valid ID, which I did show her my military ID. But the guy next to me who did not speak a word of English, rented a room with out any ID, he was not a member, and paid cash. And he did not had to show any type of ID. when I confront Tehem, the lady that was helping me and the other guy at the front desk got rattled after I asked them why do I have to show my ID and the other gentleman did not have to do so, their response was that he rents rooms quite often, and the policy does not apply to him. They apologized for the inconvenience, but I was left wondering if it was safe to be in this hotel, since they let people register with out checking the proper ID.
