SpringHill Suites El Paso Airport

I arrived into town early for my sister's graduation and didn't realize that El Paso was on MST and needed to check into my room early. The front desk staff, Mike and Alfie went above and beyond to ensure that I had a room and was accommodated upon arrival and throughout my stay! I am so appreciative of the both of them because they were sold out the night before. This was not only my experience, but every guest that walked through the door was treated with the utmost respect which can be such a rare occurrence these days. Later in the evening, I had one of David's famous margaritas! You must try them, it's his personal recipe and one of the things that El Paso is known for. The room was clean, spacious, relaxing, and the bed was comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in the area!

We stayed last week for one night. Overall nice hotel. We've stayed here before and may stay again, when we pass thru El Paso. |Cons: This time our room was not as clean as we expected. Bathroom floor was not clean--there was hair on floor and pretty serious dirt/splash marks on outside of tub. This room can accommodate 5 guests (2 queens & trundle bed). There were 3 bath towels stocked in the room. Ummmm... if my room can have up to 5 guest, I would expect at lease 5 towels....3 pieces of equipment in fitness center did not work (the One bike, the One recumbent bike and One of 3 elipticals. All 3 treadmills looked to be in order--I didn't try them, but they had no error messages on them). I notified the front desk--hopefully they are working by now) Room could use a little more light--kind of "dark cave" like at night when you are in the room. |Pros:|Staff is truly friendly and kind. Thank you.|Fitness center is located across from front desk. I really appreciate that. Thank you. I am female and dislike going into a fitness center tucked away in a far corner of the hotel, at night, by myself. And then the equipment faces the windows, so the door is behind me and I can't see someone approaching (or hear them, if I want to wear headphones). I dont' feel safe doing that. So Thank you!!|We like the layout of the rooms at Springhill suites. Works well and with the sitting area we can enjoy our room in the afternoon/evening without having to sit on the bed!! Thank you

I stayed here for one short night after flying into El Paso late, and then left just after breakfast for the rest of my trip. My stay was comfortable and easy. I appreciated being able to use the app for my key and bypassing check-in at the desk, especially when I was just ready to go to bed after a late flight. Breakfast wasn’t my favorite even for hotel breakfasts and I had to get something else after I left. ||Tip for the hotel cleaning staff: there was a decent amount of toothpaste splattered on the wallpaper behind the sink as well as grime on the handle to the shower door. A little more detail with cleaning would be nice. Overall, a good stay.

I hate giving this review because honestly the people working at the desk were great and friendly but the rest of the hotel was awful and this review is meant to emphasize that. Where to start……Well as a platinum member for Bonvoy(Marriott) I get to stay at a lot of different hotels thru out the year for work and this was definitely the worst SpringHill Suites I’ve ever stayed at. I had an awful experience with my stay here at the SpringHill Suites El Paso airport hotel. There was multiple things that made my stay this and here’s a couple of things. First off the mini fridge no matter what I did froze all my liquids I put in it, I would press the yellow button to dethaw the fridge and every single time thru out my entire stay every drink I would put in the fridge it would turn out to be ice. Second was the shower and the lack of hot water and the water pressure in room 329 because it was awful!!!!!! It would take at least 3-4 minutes for the water to get at least warm and it wouldn’t even get hot no matter how long you had the water on. To make matters worse out of all the marriotts I’ve stayed at this year being almost to a Titanium level status the water pressure was so bad! This was easiest the worst shower experience I’ve had at any hotel, not to mention there was no seal at all to block the water to come out of the shower so all the water would reach the floor. Third was the heating/AC unit and how it wouldn’t turn on, I get there is a sensor in the room to turn on and off the unit which is something I highly dislike but when I am sleeping in the middle of the night and I have the thermostat set to 66 for example to wake up sweating and it showing 72 is wrong. Fourth is the noise that comes from outside and the speaker from outside that warns people not to “park in the parking lot after hours and this is being recorded”, all of that sound you can hear at all hours of the night thru my window. Fifth was multiple times the TV guide wouldn’t update! It would only say the channels of the TV but no information what was on that channel. I know this is a hotel problem and not a specific room problem because when I checked in my first night this was like this in room 422 and I moved rooms because all of these issues followed me to my new room 329 so this is a problem likely with the entire hotel. Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay, trust me, you’ll thank me later.

Hotel room was spacious and beautiful. It’s located in an area with plenty of restaurants options. The front desk was quick and helpful at check in and when checking out. I’d definitely recommend and revisit this hotel when visiting El Paso.

It was a very long day, spending over 4 hours at the border. It was a very good thing we opted for the 2 queens with the trundle beds. We had plenty of space for everyone. The blackout curtain was not really a complete blackout. There was a very annoying light that filtered through and I didn't get the beat sleep. The breakfast was disappointing and sad they didn't have bold coffee, only medium and decaffeinated. They did charge $10 for parking, but it has a very central location.

Room is clean and things look new. Beds are adequately comfortable. The wifi is terribly slow. Can’t imagine it’s only 10Mbps. The breakfast is below average compared to other springhills. The selection is small, and the food quality is not great. The scrambled egg is tasteless. There’s no cut fruit. The walnuts seemed bad already. There’s no waffle iron. The utensils are low end plastic and paper only. The hot water in shower was slow. The soap and shampoo dispensers are installed on a wrong side. The ceiling paint peeled off a bit and the shower head has rusty brownish stains. Lighting in bathroom is great but the room lighting is a bit too dim.

Our stay here gor our men's convention was excellent 👌🏽 We even forgot some a phone 📱 n some other electric equipment and the employees were honest and everything was turn over to us ..thanks again Springhill employees and we will return, breakfast was delicious aswell 😋
