Residence Inn Galveston Island

We loved our recent stay at this property the week of NYE 2024. It was clean & stylish the minute you walked in the door. We were greeted by the most friendly staff- I believe her name was Heather- her smile lit up the room and she was so helpful to us during our stay! Loved the layout and design of our room- beds were comfy and AC was nice & cold. The breakfast was SO good, but the only negative was there were SO many people that they kept running out of everything- so get to breakfast early! Great location and ability to walk to several awesome places including the seawall. Definitely can't wait to go back here!

Came here for a early valentines, upon arrival my girlfriend and I were impressed by with the location, the staff friendliest, and most importantly the view. Not to mention the GREAT price for a room with Ocean views. Over all the room was spotless, the hallways were quiet, and have absolutely nothing to complain about. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone looking for a small getaway with amazing views. Will be coming back!

We were there for our wedding anniversary. The room we had was clean, spacious and well equipped. Gym with everything you need to work out. Vending machines available in the lobby area. Swimming pool with plenty of chairs available. A very large restaurant and a breakfast, which to be honest, exceeded our expectations. The staff that attended to us during our stay were extremely friendly, they were: Rhianah, Lully, Alejandro and Heather.

We wanted to be close to the cruise terminal so I searched the web for Marriott. So happy I found this hotel. It has been open they said for 8 months. It still looks and smells new. The staff seems happy to be working there. Heather checked us in and Eric helped with things he though we needed to know as well. Our morning breakfast was very good. The dining area is clean and large enough for many to sit and eat comfortably.

We just finished a 4 month stay at the Residence Inn while our house was being built. We went through a tropical storm & hurricane, however in spite of of this, our stay was fabulous. We had a 1 bedroom suite with great views on the top floor. It’s a new hotel & very clean. Some of our favorite features were a walk in shower, full kitchen, comfortable bed, & very pet friendly environment. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a Marriott & selections changed daily. The location was perfect & was walking distance to some great restaurants & the beach. What really made our stay so memorable was the staff. Michelle (sales manager), Matt (general manager), Chance (assistant manager) & Rhianon (front desk) were all so competent & friendly. The maintenance staff & housekeepers were eager to help with anything. We actually felt like the entire staff were family.

The Good:||New property. The staff during check in was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are new with many modern features including USB ports. The furniture was very comfortable and new. The bedding was comfortable. |Good breakfast for the money. ||Did not like the fact I was charged parking fees to park myself. ||The Bad:|Parking Fee

Seems to be a new-ish property due to how well it’s been taken care of. Very clean and the staff was helpful and fun. The rooms are very big and well laid out. We had two beds and a pull out sofa. The kitchen is roomy and stocked with l everything a person would need to feel at home.

Lovely room and beautiful lobby. Great views of the beach. Very friendly staff. Free parking on site. The room was modern and very clean. Giovanni at the front desk was very kind and friendly. The location is wonderful and I would definitely stay her again.
