The resort is totally awesome, the beach club is just out of this world. Our condo was fantastic. We did have some problems in the condo and the property manager was nonresponsive. That was our only problem during the time that we were there. We will stay again, but look for a different property manager— which means a different unit as well. The nonresponsive property manager is why we gave only a three star.

I absolutely love this resort. My husband and I come here every year. We have been coming here with our twin grandkids since they were 2 yrs. old. They are 8 yrs old now. Every year they are very excited to come and visit. The pool is great! Plus the child's pool is so big. There is an upstairs bar you access from the pool area and restaurant lower level where you can get lunch orders and have it served to you poolside. The infinity pool look out to the beach and beautiful Texas Gulf. Across the street you can access the lazy river. You have access to two private awesome pools, private beach, great music and planned family activities for the family! It is a few miles out of the main stream of Galveston, but it is worth it. We plan a couple of days to go into Galveston and do things in town. Then we spend the rest of our vacation at Pointe West enjoying the wonderful amenities that are offered to us. If you do not try this gorgeous, beautiful, peaceful resort you will never know the fun you are missing!!

Our unit had easy access to the ocean. Infinity pool was nice. Lazy river was very small.

Uno de los mejores sitios que he conocido.. la belleza de sus casas. Y la playa aunque es oscura. Es amplia. Pueden jugar cualquier deporte. Y llevar sus mascotas.. a la playa.

One of the best places I have ever known... the beauty of its houses. And the beach although it is dark. It is wide. They can play any sport. And take your pets... to the beach.
