Our go-to hotel in Galveston, Candlewood Suites, never disappoints! Every stay here has been comfortable, peaceful, and enjoyable. The staff is always welcoming and genuinely friendly, which makes checking in feel like catching up with old friends. The hotel itself has a quiet ambiance that lets us relax fully—ideal for both rest and unwinding after exploring the island. The rooms are well-maintained, spacious, and have all the conveniences we need. We especially appreciate the kitchenettes, which allow us to prepare some meals when we want to keep things easy. The beds are very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep, and the hotel amenities, like the laundry and gym, make it easy to feel at home. We recently stayed at Candlewood Suites Galveston for our fishing trip, and as always, it was a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed to relax after a long day on the water. The kitchenettes are a great touch, letting us prepare meals and store our catch. Clean hotel. Lobby was inviting. Desk person cordial. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool view on 3rd floor. Would definitely stay again. Only thing we missed by staying here compared to other IHG was a morning continental breakfast. The rooms provides a stove top to do your own cooking.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. I had to move from another hotel due to their lack of wifi. And I'm glad I made the change, because the previous hotel was run down and dirty, and was almost as expensive as this place.

The staff was helpful and polite. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. The parking lot was well maintained and well lit. The bathroom door was sticky and had to be pushed to close. There was no free breakfast and the food cupboard prices were too high.

Went down early for a cruise. Just a quick one-night stay, however, turned out to be very pleasant. The three high points, believe it or not, were the towels, the toilet paper, and the coffee. Staff very friendly and helpful

This place is located centrally in Galveston and gives you access to the bay and beach’s ! Service was excellent and kind ! Room was clean and functional for me and the wife ! But I would like to see this place update the rooms ! But other than that no complaints on my short stay !

Front desk was very friendly and courteous. Got us checked in quickly. The elevators sounded so scary, it was hot inside. The hallways smelled like weed or something. Wouldn’t have totally felt safe had my husband not been with me.
