Motel 6 Galveston, TX

Extremely basic no frills motel. But was extremely clean actually it was cleaner than some fancy hotels I've stayed in felt like it was safe, and the pool looks nice we did not use it but it looked decent. Decently located close to food options for a quick bite. The office lady was great! Super friendly and communicative.

The room looks nice and clean office staff very nice and helpful , not a whole lot of noise on back side of hotel where we were staying . Hotel location is not too far from where our group plans to travel on . We are planning a cruise the next day. The pool area and around swimming areas are clean and not bad to swim in pool. Our room looks like it was recently remodeled walls, floor, and bathroom is really a nice size space love how the bathroom was remodeled looks really nice . The bed looks to be clean with clean sheets on them . The pillows not so great with us though. Would have liked to have some or fluffer ,nice pillows in our room . We are also disappointed there was not a microwave, or small refrigerator in the room. Also where is some wall paintings on the walls? I'm just thinking since the room has just recently been updated the staff or whomever just haven't had time to put any up.|| .

I was looking for a last minute hotel after losing 80$ on a hotel by the beach front. We came to motel 6, running into the employee Misty! She was so kind and helped us get a room. She was the kindness I needed after such a stressful day. The room we got had everything we needed for the night, and the shower was so warm and nice after a day on the beach. Will definitely be staying here again.

Great hotel at a reasonable price. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Nice clean room and quiet. We felt very safe. Free parking and close to the cruise terminal. You will enjoy staying here. Liliana and I enjoyed our stay. We will stay here several more nights.

Nice place to stay. Close to the beach, very reasonable. Quiet rooms, even though it's close to the highway rooms are well insulated. Friendly and hospital staff! Misty was very nice. I'll be back

Excellent experience, great customer service satisfaction! The clerks made sure my stay in motel 6 was accommodating and inviting. Clean rooms nice scenery by the pool. No difficulty with the staff or other customers. Friendly overall experience.

This location is the better Motel 6 in Galveston. I've never had a bad experience here and the front desk staff are always kind. I look forward to seeing Misty when I check-in because she's so professional. My room is always nice and I have a comfortable place to rest for the day.

Young lady at desk was friendly, polite. Checked in between 6 and 7 pm. 1st room sent to, door unlocked, beds not made, room not ready. 2nd room, heat didn't work, air vents were filthy. 3rd room, heat worked, vents were filthy. Drapes in bad shape with lint balls. Dirt from vent blew onto bedspread. Was going to spend an extra night, but not now. We were on 2nd floor. Rail is in bad shape. Probably wouldn't keep someone from falling to ground. Can't believe cruise passengers left good reviews
