Older hotel but clean and beds were comfy. Management needs to give attention to the exercise room. All three of the machines were somewhat not in working order. Breakfast was fine. They gave us 30 minutes for late checkout. Pool and hot tub looked nice but we did not use them. (We were on points, so our room may have been upgraded a bit.)

I got back from my event tonight and of course wanted to take a shower. Two of the small wash cloths were stained and one was just a bit dingy and not entirely white. It was no biggie, it happens. I went to the front desk and just asked for a wash cloth without even initially complaining that mine were unclean. I just asked for ONE wash cloth. Surely that shouldn’t have been an issue at a place of business whose sole purpose is to rent out their space for people to stay the night, shower, etc… The individual who was working the front desk was glued to his cell phone during our entire interaction and told me THERE ARE NO CLEAN TOWELS IN THE ENTIRE HOTEL….. I find this hard to believe. So that means out of all the cars I see out in the parking lot tonight of guests who are staying here… if any one of those families or individuals needs a fresh towel y’all don’t have one 🧐 This is literally a hotel so I’m just perplexed about that. The man at the front desk was surprisingly rude and unprofessional which I obviously wasn’t expecting as I was just asking for a something so basic. I’ve stayed at many other hotels where I needed a new towel, etc. and they normally just walk to the back and grab me one. He repeatedly and rudely told me there were no clean (small wash cloth) towels in the entire hotel. So either he’s lying and refusing customer service or there are actually no clean wash cloth towels to give out. Frankly either scenario is crazy. I’m literally not a picky person when it comes to hotels. I just expect good customer service at the very bare minimum and as someone who works in retail management, I would never in a million years be so unaccommodating all while having an annoyed and dry attitude. He was not apologetic, attentive or POLITE… much less accommodating, which are very bare minimum qualities working in customer service. He actually behaved like I was disturbing him. So hey, if anyone here has a cares about the type of service being provided, I would coach this individual on how to speak with a customer, how to go above and beyond to accommodate and how to at the very least be polite and apologetic if you are unable to accommodate due to unexpected circumstances. Had that been the exchange, I would not be writing a negative review because I would understand. He refused to give me his name which is fine but a hotel manager’s name is generally not private information and should be provided to customers if requested. This person working on the night of April 23, 2025 was a middle aged man with black hair, glasses and a blue collared shirt with a red logo.

Not the fanciest place on earth but it is charming and a relaxing space for a busy vacationer! The staff are both professional and friendly, the rooms were nice and clean and the breakfast was honestly so much better than we expected for such a cheap price! (Price included with room) We got two rooms for the price of one room closer to where we wanted to visit and were about 20-30 minutes away from all our chosen spots for vacation! Free parking too? This hotel basically made it possible for us to add a whole new stop to our vacation with our savings without compromising quality.🌹

Rude general Manager, always something broken. Entire hotel smells like marijuana even though we have to sign a waiver because it's supposed to be 100% smoke free. I had surgery at MD Anderson. My doctor said I had to stay in town one extra day. I told front desk and was assured it was taken care of. The next day, I was told that nothing was ever noted and since I was there on an employee discount, I had to make a new reservation. I said ok but there were no more employee rate rooms available. I spoke to the GM and he said, no that rate is too low. So I asked how much is the regular rate. He rudely said 80.00. I knew that was a lie because I had just seen 55.00 online. So we left for another hotel. About an hour later I realized I forgot my pillow and earbuds. My husband went to get them and they said housekeeping left and to come tomorrow. I work for choice hotels. I know front desk has access to all lost and found. I do not understand why they would treat a guest like this, especially since I just had surgery.

The online pics are beautiful. Filters work wonders. Will not stay here again. We booked for 3 nights. Check in staff was nice. We realized after being in the room that the toilet would not flush. It was clogged. We asked for help he couldn’t help. We asked for a plunger, there wasn’t one. I asked for room change, the hotel was booked with only 5 cars in the parking lot. I did not go away until magically he made a phone call and gave us the plunger. The rooms are spacious but have very dirty carpets and a very nasty smell. The curtains have mold on them and are dirty as well. They’re supposed to be white so easily visible. The sofa bed was disgusting. With stains on it! We were told the washer and dryer didn’t work but they did you just have to pay through the app. Breakfast was decent every morning. They closed breakfast on the 25th though the day we checked out. So we had to eat at the airport. Hot tub was out of order. We could hear music every night a combination of the nearby gas station and strip club across the street. Housekeeping staff was very nice and attentive. This hotel needs renovations for sure and an inspection.

DO NOT STAY HERE. If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would. Walls are paper thin and rooms are constantly harassed by racing cars and loud music at night from the gas station. These loud cars parade up and down the street all night and blast loud music. The windows/walls do nothing to block out the noise. Rooms smell like mildew and floors are constantly moist. Shower curtains do not stay “closed” but fall down to the center. Bathroom door does not close all the way and the hair drier blows less than a broken fan. Pillowcases are stained and presented as such. Couches arent too different being stained and smell. In-unit iron doesn’t work. If you value sleep or any basic need, do NOT STAY HERE. I’d be better off at a motel.

Absolutely horrible experience!! Walls are paper thin and all conversations are heard from one room to another. I had to change my room at 1am because I could not take hearing the moaning from the adjacent room. Then at 5am, the sirens went off and the fire department came to clear the fire/smoke from the building due to outdated electrical systems and equipment. The place is hazardous and dangerous. It is not habitable!! During my stay, the heater was temperamental and would not work in a time where the weather was extremely cold. Finally, some guest was abusive. He/she would bang my door and run away multiple times during my stay. The hotel did nothing about it. Awful!! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! The owner responds dishonestly. The fire was not from a guest smoking. It was from an old electrical equipment from the hotel per the fire department. Moreover, the general manager, Dave, did not even visit the building and all of a sudden they have improved the safety? Please. Again, do yourself a favor and avoid this place!!
