Howard Johnson by Wyndham Lubbock TX

We had an excellent accessible room, fully accessible. Comfy bed, good A/C, fridge, roll in shower, clean. Manager was helpful and gave us extra towels, plenty of ice. Breakfast was waffles, hard biscuits, thin gravy, toast, cereal, bananas, juice. Overall, a good value. Will stay again.

This is an inexpensive hotel with a super friendly staff and funky, retro decor (70s vibe). Rooms and general areas were very clean, beds were very comfortable, and everything was in working order. Bathrooms have tubs (not just a shower), which is great for relaxing after a long day of driving. Pleasant, comfortable place for an affordable price. We'll be staying again.

Check in was great the woman was really nice and the room was clean and the problem was the toilet was running and wouldn’t flush. I turned the water off so I could sleep and in the morning I spoke with a guy at the front desk and he said that the maintenance guys were not available and he didn’t know what time they would come. So it’s sad to see how far that the name Howard Johnson has fallen from the days of my youth. Sometimes it’s not good to franchise out.

Bed bugs! Literally got told it was just trash and they wouldn’t offer another room! I have pictures of it even and took pictures of it for the host but got verbally berated after we requested another room cause we didn’t feel comfortable.

This is probably the worst hotel I've ever been to. I travel for a living. There were roaches in my room (you can see in the picture) the fridge was frozen over and did not close (as seen in the picture) the front desk clerk was very sick and did not wear a mask or hand sanitize. The sink smell disgusting as soon as you turned it on. The "housekeeping" were two young men that showed up at 8 AM banging very loud on the door two different times and were very aggressive. I am almost positive they did not change out my sheets. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone. Very terrible and unsanitary.

I needed a room for one night during business trip. From the outside of the motel, it looked sufficient. ||||Everything was fine, until I got into my guest room:||roaches in guest bath tub;||burn holes in bed sheet;||missing paint on walls in guest room; and||insufficient options in breakfast buffet||||I will not stay here again and advise others against this motel.

Positive: "" Negative: There was terrible mold on the walls of the bathroom that stunk up the whole room. The desk manager was reluctant to let us change rooms and had to call his manager for approval. In addition, the rooms that we saw were in need of deep cleaning and repair.

This place sucks so bad after the TV was not working and the hot water was not working when they came into the room. They said it smelt like weed and we needed to go. We got kicked out after paying a whole week worth of rent after only a few hours. How can you continue to have business if you do this to people and you will not give a refund which is really messed up I will make sure that everybody knows about you. Thank you for nothing at all.
