Courtyard New Braunfels River Village

We've stayed here twice now and had great experiences both times. Front desk staff is super friendly and helpful. Both times we had rooms with a balcony out back overlooking the Guadalupe. Such a beautiful and relaxing view. New Salt Grass restaurant right next door (walkable) and plenty of places to eat nearby if you don't fancy that. Grounds are lovely. Pool and hot tub look inviting (maybe I'll get in next time). Highly recommend.

Would’ve probably given an extra star but let’s say my experience there didn’t meet my expectations. Was to stay for a couple of weeks with possible extension another week or so but my accommodations were the least comfortable to say it politely. Was facing the highway for a couple of nights I had no to little sleep. Asked to be transferred to a suite facing the river or the back and wasn’t accommodated. Maybe I would’ve stayed if I would’ve been moved to a quieter spot. Staff is definitely in need of a better customer service training. Very little services provided and over priced substandard breakfast provided for the price paid for the suites / rooms as equal to other hotels. If there was no point of getting any sleep or being moved to a quieter spot, asked if I could check out the next day and how late I maybe able to do so. Was told they can extend checkout to 12 noon. Booked myself another hotel in the area for the remainder of my business trip and extended another week, packed up my luggage and proceeded to check out around 10:45 am “way before noon”, yet I was charged an additional night when I wasn’t told that when asked the front desk the night before. However, thanks to Michelle, the Director of Sales for her genuine concern for great follow up and refunding me that extra night. Sincerely appreciated that. The end result is a total bust all around, no sleep, services, customer service, hotel staff and lack of comparable food.

Stayed two nights for business in a standard two bed queen. Room was a little tired but it appears they have some construction going on so a remodle might be in the future. Very nice area to view the river behind the hotel to relax after a day of work. Rooms are clean and quiet. Overall a good stay

This is the most beautiful peaceful fancy courtyard we’ve ever stayed! Honestly, I would call this property as a Resort. The views are just stunning and it’s a hidden paradise in New Braunfels. Front desk Sidika, she is the lady who will make sure you will make the most great time here. She is very kind, helpful and professional. We always feel be welcomed and took cared every time when she checked in us. All stuffs are great and helpful. Those are the reasons keep bring our family back to this property. Highly recommend!!

Possibly best stay I've ever had! Byranna at front desk was wonderful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Views and grounds are incredible! Only room for improvement I noticed would be the bathroom: a fan, as well as better lighting, both for ambiance as well as for applying makeup. We look forward to staying again!

Wonderful view of the river, the rooms are fine, but the service could be much better. The hotel offers very limited services, and the ones it does offer are not up to expectations. The attitude of the staff needs to be improved, except for Kaitlyn at the front desk who was very nice. The bar only operates from 17:00 to 22:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. Apart from a substandard breakfast no food is offered at the hotel.

Kaitlyn was very kind at the front desk and beyond helpful with sorting an issue with our room! Her smile lit up the lobby as we walked in, and she couldn't have been more welcoming! Other employees have always been nice on other encounters as well!

Frankie, Briana and the first agent at front desk i met at check in. I apologize and forgot her name hopefully she gets acknowledged, they were amazing!!! It was my birthday and stayed for the night visiting from San Antonio…got greeted with an amenity and Frankie took care of us at the bar!! Such a great experience!!
