Motel 6 New Braunfels, TX

Customer service was Excellent. Rooms were nice, clean n smelled fresh. Went on a weekend trip w family. No breakfast just coffee. Has an indoor pool but it's not a heated pool for sure. We went n it there was like a cold front coming. We decided to go swim n it wasn't heated enough. We still swam and made the best of it. I would definitely come back. It's so close to lots of shopping centers

No working heat at all! Refused to give me my money do not let them run your card before you see your room! My room had no working heat. The whole place is a dump and stinky. This place should be shut down or investigated immediately! Do not spend your money here you are better off staying in your car on in the street would be cleaner than stepping foot here or having to deal w this circus. BEWARE!!!!!! Read the reviews you can tell the fake ones the owner is obviously putting

I booked a room here and was told after I paid that they would provide an extra blanket because the heat wasn't working right. The guy hands me a balled up nasty blanket. I go to the room and it's freezing. I ask the front desk to swap my room and he argued with me. Disrespected me in front of my wife and cancelled my room with no refund. This is the dirtiest most inhospitable motel I've seen. I was floored to be kicked out of a hotel for requiring heat on 25° night and it was an all around sad situation. Don't reserve a room here no matter what. Your car is a better option.

This was the worse place I have ever stayed! Upon arrival the room I was given had no safety latch, then they sent me to another room, it had a big hole dug out in the door frame where the deadbolt is supposed to lock and was not secure either, so they sent me to get another room. The deadbolt and latch worked in this room, but it had a LOT of damage to walls and ceiling and had roach bugs! Since we were merely sleeping in the room and it was so late we went ahead and stayed. The next morning the person on staff duty brought a receipt and said they gave me 25% discount (refund I have not yet seen in my account) and said they had put me in a suite (the word alone should not be used because the only difference was the floor space was bigger and the deadbolt did was unable to work and did not line up with the door frame holes. We decided it wasn’t worth moving to yet another room for 1 night and went about our day! When we got back and wanted a shower, we started with the 5 year old (who does not shower) and had no plug to run a bath and had to use the only wash cloth we were given as a stopper. I called down and the gentleman on duty was obnoxious and rude! Totally blaming the lack of care on guests and did nothing to try and offer more. I ended up hanging up on him because he wanted to argue and I felt it was the most ridiculous and unprofessional experience I have ever had. So beware of those low prices, there’s a reason they are so low! But I have stayed in a Motel 6 before and have NEVER been more disappointed in any hotel experience than this one! People yelling, dogs barking, children screaming at midnight! Would not recommend this place to anyone! Worse staff I have ever encountered!

I’m a traveling nurse and Ive stayed at other motel 6, I had to get up and go to work the next morning at 5:30 in the morning and all night you hear people just laughing, talking, yelling at each other on the hallway. When I say all night it was all night and you could hear it vividly into your room, although they were down the hall somewhere else you could hear them in the room talking all the way into your room that you’re staying at and they were not in the room next to me trust me these people had no respect. No regards, they kept walking around till four or 5 o’clock in the morning when I woke up they are yelling on the hallway, laughing, talking, taking off going outside slamming doors, those doors slam so loud that anybody lets it go you will be woken up. If you have to go to work early in the morning I don’t recommend this hotel at all AT ALL!!!! worst stay ever.

Absolutely disgusting, nothing like the pictures at all!! Didn’t even complete check-in, cancelled reservation and left . Front desk lady was not friendly, stains on hallway carpet, white towels under vending machine soaking up some liquid, indoor pool has peeling paint, SKETCHY guests, look like they live there permanently aka “extended stay” but they sure don’t look like they are leaving anytime soon, did not appear safe at all. Not right off highway, so it’s dark and very creepy and that’s during the day. I can only imagine how it is at night.

My husband travels for work. This is what I was able to get him into at short notice. This is not ok. Mold, broken doors, and uncleaned. What bothers us the most is the MOLD! This is unacceptable. Mold creates health issues. Will not be booking here again. Better stay at the Motel 6 in another location. Considering this is in “NEW BRAUNFELS” you would think it was better.

My daughter and her friend checked into this motel Around 1 AM in the morning and left before 2 o'clock did not stay even 1 hour because of roaches. And roach poop on the floor in smell bad and loud screaming and fighting outside the rooms. Again, we're not even there 1 hour. And they had to drive over thirty miles to san antonio to find another hotel because everything was booked up? The hotel still charge me for one night? Stating because that w they were there several hours? when in fact they were only there 1 hour at the most. Maybe an hour and a half.? There's no way they were there several hours because they had already checked into their hotel in san antonio by three a m.! Do not stay at this motel, it is nasty. It has roaches, it has people screaming. Make a noise and management does not care and they will not give you your money back even if you only stay one hour.!! My daughter and her friend had an event the next morning. So they got very little rest because they had to go find another motel!|Stay here at your own risk!!
