Howard Johnson by Wyndham New Braunfels

This was a medical trip. Stayed last night, we live out of town so decided to book a room near my doctor's appointment. We stayed in room 101 Pro: room was clean, water pressure in shower was good, a/c worked Con: no one at the desk next morning, we had to leave early and got this room also for the hot breakfast. I was told breakfast was 6:30 am to 9am. There was no breakfast, no cold breakfast, no nothing... lights were off, everything was dark. I went at 7am and 8:25am. Nothing both times. Coffee maker in the room did not work well. I called the office and they said I would not get a discount because I went through 3rd party and I paid in advance! Don't stay at the place if you want coffee, toast! Hot breakfast??? Hilarious! False advertisements are faud! A cleaning lady came out as we were leaving. She ran away and hid when I approached her... Office said there was a gas leak in the hotel and they were unable to prepare breakfast. If that was true isn't that dangerous for the people staying in the hotel?? See photos taken at 8:25 am... hot breakfast was told be served 6:30am to 9am. Ridiculous:/

We stayed at this hotel for about a week. The location is great, easy on and off the highway. Lots of food options nearby, including a steak house and a taco food truck virtually steps away. The reception was very courteous, the breakfast area always neat, the room was comfortable and we had daily housekeeping which was great! Very happy with our stay while working at Texas State!

Positive: This is our 2nd time staying here. It is very clean and quiet. Beds are comfortable. Sheets and towels are clean. Overnight stay or two days is great if you are only needing the room to sleep and shower. Negative: Updating possibly, it is an older hotel but still very well maintained for an overnight stay!

Loved our stay at this hotel! The pool area was spotless, and the towels were always fresh and available. Our room had everything we needed, and the air conditioning kept us cool in the Texas heat. Can’t wait to return!

Our weekend stay was amazing! The Howard Johnson staff were polite, and the rooms were well-maintained and spacious. The nearby shopping area and restaurants were a great convenience, and the affordable rates made it even better.

Rooms are very clean. Housekeeping on top of it. Continental breakfast was little to be desired. Otherwise, a very convenient location to many attractions in the area. Pillows extremely puffy/fluffy! I prefer other type of pillow but to each his own.

Fantastic experience! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-located. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. Great value for the price. Highly recommend!
