Candlewood Suites New Braunfels by IHG

Spent two nights at this facility while attending a family wedding. Room was very nice with stove top, refrigerator,and coffee maker. Room was clean and well maintained. The front desk day lady was VERY friendly and helpful. She was very courteous yet sociable and gave us a couple of great tips to some good restaurants! I will be happy to use this facility anytime I’m in town.

Love it here. My go to for everything. Great staff, very friendly front desk. Clean rooms with very convenient clean kitchenettes. I always have a comfortable stay here. I'll absolutely continue to stay here in my future travels.

I loved my experience at this hotel. The room was spotless and had a pleasant aroma, which made my stay very enjoyable. For the price I paid, the quality was excellent. I especially want to highlight the exceptional service from Tasha, who was amazing from start to finish. She is very kind, always smiling, and professional. I also loved the detail of offering popcorn for the guests, and having a kitchen in the room was a great bonus. I will definitely be back. Thank you for everything!

I wanted to love the experience here. The lobby smells clean and fresh and the staff was friendly when we first got here. We get up to our room and go to the bathroom and the toilet doesn't do a full flush, the tank won't refill on its own. Whatever easy fix, the television won't connect to the satellite, big problem, we sleep with the TV on. Then we try and go downstairs, the elevator doesn't work. It can go up, but it can't go down. This is a problem because i am disabled and my husband is using a cane after being in an accident. We talked to another guest and he said that it has been down all day and no one has been there to take care of it. No one told us that it was down when we checked in, we would have stayed somewhere else, this is a huge safety issue for people who are unstable walking or using mobility aides.

I was not recognized as a valued IHG member. My mattress is too short. It was the worst, most uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on at IHG property. My room was right next to the cleaning staff storage room. I heard their conversations. Loading their carts. One of the staff even park their cart halfway into my doorway. I had to move it to get out of my room. I will say the Kitchener area and utensils are outstanding. The friendliest person in the hotel was the lady I handed in my room keys to when I left the property. Not my best stay ever.

We enjoyed our stay. It was easy to get to off IH-35. The parking lot was well lit. The rooms/bathrooms were clean. The bed slept better than our bed at home and the pillow was the best! I wanted to buy it, but didn't ask if I could. I would surely love to if given the chance though! I definitely would stay here again!

We had a puppy with us and the pet charges were better than most hotels plus the flooring is luxury vinyl which is great for puppies! Plus it is a suite with full size fridge and other items to assist in your stay! I would recommend this hotel!

My second stay at the Candlewood Suites in New Braunfels was just as good as the first. The room was clean and roomy, and the bed was comfortable. No problems with the TV, Wi-Fi or kitchen appliances. The kitchenette had everything I needed with a dishwasher and a large refrigerator and a stove top. Parking lot was well lit for security. The bathroom was big and well stocked with all necessities.
