BellaVida Haus

We enjoyed our stay at the charming BellaVida Haus! This house has all the amenities and character you could want when visiting New Braunfels. The location is very central, just minutes from downtown Gruene, yet it feels secluded with it’s backyard oasis where you can view wildlife, such as deer and birds. We enjoyed the beautiful pool, outdoor kitchen, and hammocks. The house itself was very cute and clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with essentials, and the attention to details was spot on! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here for the week! We were well equipped to have family dinners, fun in the sun, quiet mornings amongst nature with coffee, and multiple places for us to hangout and enjoy each other’s company. It was an absolutely stunning location!

My gal pals and I just spent the weekend at BellaVida Haus in New Braunfels—and what a perfect house set up for a girls’ weekend!! The kitchen is very well stocked—including paper towels, paper plates, wine tumblers, utensils, etc. We had brought in charcuterie type foods as a simple meal on the night of our arrival. We loved all the special attention to detail features—silverware cabinet door handles, back yard bucket lights, cute outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen, hanging porch swing, multiple outdoor sitting areas, PLENTY of GREAT bath towels, a clawfoot tub, beautiful walk-in shower! We enjoyed The Haus so much that we spent more of our girlfriend time hanging around The Haus than shopping in town. New Braunfels has EXCELLENT restaurants and you just can’t miss hitting the oldest bakery in Texas (loved the chocolate glazed donut that’s more than a donut)! We plan to return hope to stay longer!!

Bella Vida Haus is a definite Yes!! This newly updated home is comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well-appointed. The wrap-around porch and expansive deck and pool areas are an added bonus! While my friends and I were there, we saw deer on the property several times. Set on about an acre, the home feels secluded with trees and foliage but is only a few minutes from very popular and well-known restaurants, shopping areas, and live music venues in New Braunfels and Gruene. The owners are a wonderful couple. You can’t go wrong with Bella Vida Haus!

I was thrilled to meet up with 3 life long friends from childhood at BellaVida Haus recently. The place is full of charm and is decoratedly so thoughfully I was immediately taken. Very importantly the beds are new and super comfy and the house very clean and fully equipped. The weather was perfect so we spent much time gabbing on the front porch and out by the lovely pool. There was plenty to do nearby and great restaurants too. A cup of coffee on the porch swing and a glass of wine by the pool- the perfect start and finish to the day. We got to enjoy watching the wildlife on the property. I hope to return one day.

What a fabulous house in the country but a very short drive (like 8 minutes) to New Braunfels!!! I was here with high school girl friends but could envision being here with my husband or on a couples' trip. So it is a very versatile home! I stayed in the bedroom with the lovely claw foot bathtub attached bath. There are multiple places to sit and drink morning coffee outside and enjoy the wildlife. It was a little cool for us so we sat inside the house in the 2nd den area and the 2 large picture windows allowed us to enjoy watching the deer traipse through on their morning excursion. We saw the deer each morning of our stay!! In the evening we enjoyed wine and charcuterie poolside around the table on the deck. The house is very nicely decorated (loved loved loved the genuine rawhide section--or so I think it was--in the front den area) and the configuration of the home was delightful and purposeful. This home is a lovely place to stay whether you are a party of 2 or a party of 6! We were very comfortable enjoying the elements of nature and countryside living yet had every home convenience at our fingertips! 12/10/2023 I have returned to BellaVida Haus with another friend group—you know you have to share found treasures with all your friend groups!! They love BellaVida Haus as much as I do and are already talking about a return trip and we haven’t even left yet!! A new fun experience for me was taking my morning shower in the outdoor shower with outdoor temp in low 40s!! We loved the comfort and amenities so much that we spent a lot of time at the Haus—-and lit Hanukkah candles both nights. We did dine at Alpine Haus in town one evening and absolutely loved the food and experience!

Belinda and her husband have a beautiful home to rest, relax and reconnect! It is beautifully appointed and in such a quiet location. The deer came up to our doorstep while we’re sitting on the porch. It is close by to new Braunfels and easy to get down to the Grist Mill and other attractions of the Hill Country. We highly recommend it and will be coming back soon.

I highly recommend Bella Vida Haus. Our visit was far too short. This was a great girlfriend get away. Naeglin's Bakery and Alpine Haus were excellent and very close. This would be a great location to come year round.
