The Staff were amazing especially after a long drive from Florida! They made me feel safe and welcomed to Texas. The room was cleaned very well and the beds comfortable! I am a big snacker so the cupboard was amazing with great snacks. 10/10 Would recommend coming to this Hotel I enjoy my stay!

Don’t stay here. Starting off we booked with a third party (booking.com) apparently it booked us for a “handy cap room” so they made us switch rooms which was $50 extra that we had to pay up front. $100 deposit. Manager tells my mom (she went to pick up keys for us and it was booked in her name) she’s going to take the $50 off and not charge us for it. Great. So we only had to put the $100 deposit which she said we would get back when we leave. We get to the room and instantly my kids find men’s boxers on the shelf. Were there them away thinking maybe they just missed it. I then go take a shower where I find black hair in the tub. I was the tub my self and get in. I get out and notice it’s also by the sink. Again I clean it. There was makeup on my pillow. Which was flipped over with another pillow on top of it. I’m not a complainer so we just took the pillow and put it away. We then leave. My mom calls to complain about the hotel being dirty and to ask why she only received $45 back and the lady doesn’t even acknowledge the room being nasty. Then gives her a big run around on the money. First stating it was on the third party company we used to pay. Then changing her story to “oh I didn’t mean that I was gonna take the $50 off. I meant I was gonna take it out of your deposit.” The math isn’t even adding up for that scenario. Fact of the matter is they intended on screwing us over. They knew what they were doing. I will never stay at this hotel again. I ended up paying over $300 for a 1 star room. I didn’t think to get pictures of anything else but here’s the pillow.

We didn’t make at first a reservation there. But due to Holiday Inn’s nearby unexplicable cancelation we where sent there. The desk manager told us they were double Queen rooms. Which is not. And the Tv was broken at our arrival. The Holiday Inn tried finally to find us a room half and hour after sending us to this place. but the desk manager refused to cancel our booking without fees. We certainly not recommend this place.

I enjoyed my last minute stay here. Was in town for my daughter's basketball game. Decided to stay after the game was over because I didn't want to drive home on the back roads that late. My room was great. I like the idea of the refrigerator in the room with an ice maker. My next visit I'll be more prepared. Only one issue. The microwave didn't work. I had a left over taco from the best restaurant in Tyler. The Catch. You won't be disappointed. Overall I had a great stay. Oh yeah Jasmin was really nice and she made me laugh. Thanks Jaz.

Yes, I was greeted after a 5 minute wait, they assigned me Room 401. So far, mediocre. It gets worse from there. Key didn't work. Had to use 2nd key. Walked into room and the smell reminded us of sewer. Walked to AC unit and same smell was coming out. Carpet smelled too. Well, maybe it will get better? Nope. Started to unpack, Wife yelled when using the toilet. What the heck? Ran into the bathroom and she had almost fell off the toilet. There was an inch gap between the tile floor and the base of the toilet. No wonder the room smelled like it did. The toilet flange was evidently not even sealed and each time it rocked back and forth or side to side more gases escaped. Room 216 assigned. Still stinks. No bathroom wastebasket, coffee pot didn't work. Hallways dirty, etc.

I rented 2 rooms over the thanksgiving weekend. 3 days 2 nights. The staff was nice and helpful. We stayed on the “pet friendly” floor due to traveling with our 4 legged family member which was fine. The room condition however was a different story. There was a thick layer of dust on everything, even food crumbs from a past visitor. The room AC filter smelled musty/ moldy. I had asked the front desk to have the rooms cleaned the next day, showed photos of the issues I was having. The rooms were never visited by housekeeping despite my direct request.

I just came for a quick stop over. I pre-paid yet it seemed like they had no information on me. I had to give them all of my contact info again. Check in took about 20 minutes. They told me they didn’t have the king room I book but they would give me one with two beds and acted like they were doing me a favor by not charging me for the extra bed.||One reason to book candlewood is you can do your laundry for free. Well they only have two machines and the quickest cycle you can get it 77 minutes. Heavy soil is 2 hours on one of their machines. I waited from 7:30 to 9:45am for a machine. ||It was clear my cycle was going to take my past the 11am check-in they want. I asked to get it extended to noon which is what is on the door in the room. I was told they could not do that. They said the signs in the room are from the old hotel. They really need to get those changed out of they are going to enforce an 11am check out. ||I couldn’t get hot water out of the shower at night but I could in the morning. Coffee machine ran out of beans and wasn’t replenished. The room key you had to dip 3-5 times for it to work. I didn’t sleep well because I could hear the elevator in my room. It’s a 2-2.5 star hotel.

We normally book Airbnb’s but being Easter weekend at last minute we had to get a hotel and I will tell you never again will we stay here. We had to get a bigger room first was told they didn’t have one. So I tried canceling my room and was told I couldn’t cancel I would still be charged for one night. But then all of a sudden they had a room but it was gonna be $50 extra ok fine then we had to pay an extra $100 deposit in case there are damages. Room was dirty I knew they wouldn’t send someone to clean it so we just made due with the issues. The second day we were there our trash was full and while we were out we thought maybe housekeeping would come in and tidy up but returning later that night no one had came in and cleaned or took our trash out. After waiting for money to be returned on my card they ended up putting $45 back on my card when I called to ask about the $100 for damages they gave a big run around that they never took the $50 out for getting a bigger room. I will never stay here again or book for family we were completely over charged for a room with 2 beds.
