★★★★We were pleasantly surprised by cabin #6, the only dog friendly cabin at Winthrop Mountain View Chalets. The cabin was clean and spacious, with direct tv and a convenient kitchenette that includes a microwave, toaster oven, pod coffee maker, and small refrigerator - as well as a couple of plates, glasses, and silverware. Location is next to the KOA camp ground, which in early June was quiet. Plenty of parking and convenient location right off HWY 20, perfect for a climbing and hiking weekend with your best furry friend.

★★★★★Wonderful little cabins are cozy and spotlessly clean. Great size for two, with a queen bed, sofa and coffee table, as well as a small table in an eating nook and a little kitchenette. Great heating system, ceiling fan and lights and storage in all the right places. Everything worked seamlessly. The deck would be lovely in the summer. Susan was very accessible and easy to work with. Just a short drive south of downtown Winthrop, a perfect base for our winter getaway. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

★★★★★The cabins have a rustic appearance from the outside but don't be fooled, the insides are bright, modern and spotlessly clean. Private deck with views over the Methow Valley - beautiful even in November. 1 mile into Winthrop - a little far in the rain but our welcoming host drive us into town, which was much appreciated! Great price for a great find! We'll be back.

★★★★★My hockey team (along with the significant others), stayed at the Farmhouse property run by the Mountain View Chalets in January '17.||||Everyone raved about how perfect the location and accommodations were. Everything around Winthrop is within a 2-5 minute drive, and you can even hit up some of the further afield cross country skiing trail heads within 10 minutes.||||Many of the rooms had their own bathroom, and each room had heaters which made for a really cozy stay this winter.||||The property management was also stellar and really accommodating for any changes or requests made.||||Would honestly recommend this place for any other groups heading out to Winthrop.

★★★★★When work and freezing rain in the mountain passes delayed my arrival a day, Susan stepped up and asked if I could take another day off so she could shift my reservation, mm o charge. I stayed in cabin 2 and enjoyed a birthday and President's Day weekend skiing and lounging in the cozy, clean, bright cabin. Comes with kitchenette so I ate most meals in the cabin. Close to the road, which means a little road noise, but it died at night. Nice view of the mountains, including a marshmallow peak that I could see twirly-do ski tracks on.

★★★★★We rented a cabin for 2 for a ski outing at Winthrop. It had an excellent bed and adequate kitchen equipment. The heated bathroom floor (not available in all cabins) was a special treat. A good price, and right on the edge of Winthrop. We'll plan on returning.||~Patrick S.

NillWe rode our motorcycles to Winthrop in September. After a long ride from Vancouver Island, we were really pleased when we arrived at the Farm House. It is an old farmhouse just over the bridge from Winthrop. It was perfect for the 6 of us. We had 3 bedrooms, of the 6 in the house. None of the other rooms was booked, so we had the place to ourselves. The house was clean cozy, comfortable. It is no 5 star hotel, but we loved it. Next time we go back we hope it is available.

NillI had a wonderful experience here! Such charming and cozy chalets! The property manager was wonderful to work with, very friendly and accommodating. It was such an easy process. Pretty views of the campground and mountains with a short drive to central shopping and eating in Winthrop. I would definitely stay here again. Reasonably priced!
