Euro-Suites is not part of a chain, and it shows in all kinds of ways: service, decor, cleanliness, quality of breakfast. For just slightly more than you would pay at one of the main motel chains, you get treated like a human being. This was our first time staying overnight in Morgantown, we count ourselves lucky to have chosen Euro Suites, because it is a short drive from the interstate. We know where we'll stay next time we're in Morgantown. Bonus #1: free parking. Bonus #2: multiple restaurants in walking distance.

Room was not clean, bathroom had urine crusted at the toilet base and there was no hot water. Toilet seat wasn't properly fastened and moved back and forth when you sat on it. I was booked here for my spouses medical appointment, wish we would have selected the Holiday Inn. The property looks nice and the rooms are comfortable but without the details it doesn't matter. No plug ins for the desk area. Wouldn't recommend for business travelers.

★★★★★

Positive: The location and size of the room. The kitchen space and bathrooms were updated. Negative: We arrived after midnight because of a snowstorm and the clerk was very friendly. We were rushed out of our room in the morning, however, at the 11 am check out time. We really just needed 30-60 minutes. We will not be staying again because of this.

The gray haired lady at the front desk wasn’t inviting at all. We had to speak to her first, very unprofessional. Asked about late check out (12p) she had an attitude about that. She didn’t register our room keys for two days like we paid for prior to coming in. So we asked did you set keys for two days? “Oh I forgot hahaha” after we said it three times. The next day, power went out at 11:30a-ish. We were told power will be back on by 4:30p. Left to get food and came back around 6 and power still out. We did find out there were quite a few outages in the area. Asked about a discount or some kind of compensation, we were denied which I understand because the whole area was out so there was nothing anyone could do. The brunette asked for our room number while people were standing right next to us. I did not give the room number, that’s unprofessional and scary. She gave us a lantern, so we showered and left. Shower water was cold both days we stayed! Came back around midnight and the power was finally back on. The tv doesn’t work half the time. It was skipping and glitching the entire stay or the channels would go completely out “no signal” it was terrible. We watched tv on our iPad and phones the entire time. Wifi on the third floor had a weak signal. Great location, close to everything but that’s about it. Oh and we did do late check either, wasn’t worth it. We left earlier than checkout.

Wonderful staff, spacious room with separate living room & bedroom areas, good water pressure, comfortable bed, temperature control good. Breakfast was NOT so good: no eggs, the biscuits were not very good, the gravy was like sawdust & not very warm, no fat-free or plant-based milk.
