Hotel Morgan

The hotel was very clean and quiet. We liked that we were able to valet park upon arrival and walk to all the places we wanted to. You can self park but we decided to not have to worry about it. The rooms are much larger than standard hotel rooms which made the whole stay more comfortable. The upgrades made to this hotel are top notch. We would definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful hotel whis is centrally located and close to the WVU campus. Very comfy beds and premium toiletries. Fast wifi and no connectionissues. No coffee pot in room, but coffee and tea service in lobby. Tasty food and drinks. I would recommend this property.

Don't expect top notch customer service. In years prior, there was attention to detail. The feel and atmosphere was different upon pur second visit. I hope going forward they will up their game to become more professional and customer service oriented . It's such a lovely building with lots of history.

Our experience at the Hotel Morgan could not have been better. The staff were excellent, the room was clean and comfortable, the location is great, and very reasonably priced. If you’re looking to visit Morgantown, this is the place to stay. The only advice I have to fellow visitors is to be mindful that the hotel does not offer parking, there is a valet for $20 each night, and a paid lot across the street for about the same price. Thank you to the stewards of this historic building for allowing it to keep its classic charm while also having modern amenities!

I recently planned my company Holiday Party at Hotel Morgan. We had an AMAZING time. The staff at Hotel Morgan helped to make sure every detail was perfect and handled everything for us. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this venue for your next event.

I just had my wedding reception here last night and I wanted to review while everything was fresh! This venue is gorgeous and intimate. Antique elements and classy beautiful decor. The rooms were cute and bed comfortable. I saw many of the different styles of rooms including the two suites and all were nice. I would 100% recommend hiring a day of coordinator coordinator to help make you day run smoothly. The hotel is a great venue and great food and catering, however they’re not a full service wedding stop so definitely hire a coordinator/planner to help with all those tiny details!

My fat fingers accidentally got this hotel instead of one right on I-79. 2 miles off wasn't bad and now we think it was worth it! The hotel staff was friendly. The room was clean and the bed comfy. I loved the time-gone-by feel. The hotel was classy and the retro (not old) fridge and radio in the room added to this. We had no complaints. I have never stayed in Morgantown, but would not hesitate to stay at the hotel again.

Positive: Location was great if you?re checking out WVU. Negative: We flew in for a quick trip to check out the University, no car. Would have been very nice to have a shuttle. Looked like only valet parking, could be wrong though. Needs a major update in the rooms. Quite small and claustrophobic.
