Comfortable bed with different styles of pillows to choose from. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Very close to the hospital. Beautiful lobby and very clean everywhere. There aren’t any USB charging ports in the rooms so bring a wall adapter. The only con was when I called for the hospital rate, it was the same as the price for booking online so I didn’t actually get a discount.

Hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive. Hotel bed was very comfortable and easy to rest in. Bathroom was spacious, clean, and up to date. Bathroom lighting is attrocious....but par for the course when it comes to hotel bathroom lighting. Food at restaurant was good, with the exception of the buffalo wings. They weren't horrible just very different from what i am used to for buffalo wings; outside of that the food was good. Ate there a minimum 8 days...very convenient for those staying for work. There is a gym onsite for those that like to stay fit while traveling.

Fantastic hotel. Horrible restaurant! Family stayed here for a graduation at WVU campus. We had 4 rooms. All were impeccably clean and comfortable. Pool was nice and well kept too. For convenience we at at the BBQ restaurant in the hotel that is not run by the hotel. Seated at table 6:45pm. We received our food at 8:20 pm. Food was room temperature when it arrived.

The hotel is very quiet and clean with a nice bar restaurant on the property. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had great hot water and pressure. Just a night on our travels but would definitely recommend. The property is an older hotel but it has been nicely updated inside and out. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We have stayed at this Holiday Inn many times during the swimming meets. Our experience has been great. We checked in Thursday March 20th to March 22nd. We checked in a little later than usual. I asked the front desk girl if I was able to check out later or book for Saturday since the swimming time that day was later in the afternoon. She said it would cost 199.00 to stay, no mention of checking out later. So Friday when we got back after the swimming, I asked the front desk lady, since I am a member of IHG rewards, what was the latest time we could check out on Saturday. She kindly said 2 pm, which was perfect. So the question is, why didn’t the young girl offer that when I first asked? She seemed miserable and was not friendly whatsoever. Her attitude was the same for others checking in. Unfortunately I did not get her name. But the lady who gave me the later checkout was so friendly and nice and I appreciate her professionalism. The coffee was awful this time.

OK, yes, this is not the 4 Seasons Hotel. It is a HOIDAY INN. Having said that this is one of the cleanest and most comfortable HIs. Staff was engaged and friendly. The on site restaurant is very good and priced right. The only modest issue is that the parking lot. Crowded and layed out poorly on a hill, but hey, you are in WV after all. This is an excellent choice if you have business at WVU Medicine or Ruby Memorial Hospital. They get a lot of guests for this purpose.

It had been a while since my last hotel stay. Coming here was refreshing and relaxing. The staff was welcoming and warm. Highly appreciated when away from home. The bedding was clean, and the bathroom was sparkling. Great experience.

Great stay while visiting WVU football- super close to campus and football events!! Very comfortable and spacious beds, very clean rooms and accommodations!! Staff was friendly and helpful! Restaurant was very good- tasty food and very reasonable prices!! Loved our stay!!
