SpringHill Suites Morgantown

Before I came I read all the reviews and wasn't expecting much but let me say this hotel is very nice THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN THE STAFF IS SO NICE AND HELPFUL. I WAS HELPED QUICKED WHEN I ASKED THE HOUSEKEEPER FOR TOWELS AND TRASH BAGS. MISTY WAS SO EAGER TO HELP WHEN SHE LOOKED VERY BUSY!! SO I RATE THIS PLACE AN EXCEPTIONAL 5 STARS

Positive: Very nice clean room. They had high quality shampoo and body wash conveniently located in the shower. The whirlpool in the swimming pool area was wonderful. Best continental breakfast ever. Very tasty. This is a nice hotel and i will be staying again soon Negative: ""

Positive: The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Negative: The hot tub jets were not working but it was definitely a step up from the last two stays at a SpringHill Suites Hotel the hot tubs in those last two places did not work at all which was disappointing because that was the only reason we chose the hotels.

Rooms are of good size. Love the micro kitchenette. Employees were friendly and location was convenient for the purpose of our visit.

On our 4th trip to Morgantown, we tried the 3rd Marriott property. We were pleased with the room size and layout. The hotel was undergoing some renovations, but that didn't interfere with our stay. Area of the hotel had several fast food restaurants and a convenience store across the parking lot that I was able to walk to. Will definitely consider staying here again

I specifically called this hotel prior to booking about the hot tub based on past reviews and advised that the hot tub was working so I ended up booking. There were other hotels I could have booked if I would have known that the jets were “working, but jets were weak.” we chose this hotel specifically because of the pool and hot tub. Very disappointed. They also advertise their app for communication ext. and the lack of response on this app. Is unimpressive. I sent a message about the jets not working and after no response there, the lady told me the jets work after much time going back and forth about even If I was in the pool room. So she gave me the wrong info on the phone also. BTW, I sent a message on their app at 3:30 and at 7:40 the following AM I got the response about the jets. I was disappointed with other things with the app makes it seem like there is positive communication and you would work with check in, however, upon arrival it appeared there was no heads up we wanted to check in at 1. Thankfully they were able to accommodate. But we stood at the service desk for 15 minutes and had to walk around to find anyone. After a long drive we had to use the restroom and couldn't because the restrooms in the foyer were out of order the whole time. I didn't see anyone at the service desk the entire time we were there other than when we walked around to retrieve one. That person was a younger man in "very casual dress” hoodie and jeans checking us in. For us to be paying $150 a room I would have expected much more. Very disappointed and will not be booking with them again. UPDATE: I did just receive a call from the general manager who apologized for the inconvenience and provided some points as well as a discount from the stay. She was apologetic and ensured that she would address these situations above.

Didn’t have super high expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. The suite was spacious with two double beds and a sofa bed for the three of us. The beds were very comfortable with quality bedding/linens. The room’s decor was pretty modern and included microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker. The hotel wasn’t full, so I enjoyed having the heated whirlpool in the fitness center all to myself. They are doing some renovations of the lobby, which didn’t impact my stay apart from having to make a small detour while checking in/out.

We stayed here for one night. The hotel was recently renovated but the lobby and breakfast area are still under construction. The rooms were completed but there were a few things that needed corrected. The rooms are suites and were very nice but it was noisy when others near our room opened and closed their doors. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of items. The hotel is also within easy walking distance several fast food places.
