Hampton Inn Appleton-Fox River Mall Area

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Appleton-Fox River Mall Area over Thanksgiving for three nights while attending the Green Bay Packers game against Miami. This hotel exceeded our expectations and is easily one of the nicest Hampton Inns we’ve stayed at. The property felt new, modern, and impeccably clean. The entire hotel, from the lobby to our room, was spotless, and the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was beautifully decorated with stylish furniture and had plenty of outlets for charging all our devices, which was a big plus. The location is excellent—situated in a safe area with a variety of restaurants and shopping options nearby. It’s also conveniently located near the highway, making it a straight shot to Lambeau Field, which was perfect for game day. Breakfast each morning offered a great selection and was a wonderful start to our day. We highly recommend this Hampton Inn to anyone visiting the Appleton area and will definitely plan to stay here again on future trips.

We had a rough start to our trip due to a bad experience at a neighboring hotel, but our trip turned around thanks to Phil at the front desk here at the Hampton. Phil went above and beyond to help us get a wonderful room last minute, making sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. His kindness and dedication to customer service truly set the tone for our stay, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Every interaction has been pleasant, and the staff here clearly values making guests feel at home. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a stay with top-notch service. Cheerful reception by Kim on check in. Room was just as we requested. This facility is modern and attractive. Nicely decorated with little touches that show they care about customers. Simple things like an umbrella rack with several umbrellas near the entrance. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Only small issue was that the a/c blows right across the head of the bed. We solved this by standing 2 cushions from the loveseat in front of it to act as a deflector. Breakfast was the standard fare, but good. All staff was friendly and helpful.

Beds are very hard. We asked for a few extra comforters to try to soften them. The kids were happy with only 3 comforters on top the mattress, I needed 4 and still felt the hard mattress underneath. The staff was amazingly accommodating, friendly and professional. Breakfast was good.

Near the Appleton airport and directly off of the highway, this Hampton Inn is situated well for vehicle and air travel. This is an older property that is in need of a refresh, including a good cleaning of the carpets. My guestroom had a lived in smell that was hard to shake. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was decent, and the pool looked nice. The breakfast area is smaller than the kitchen in some homes today, and the selection was sub-standard. The front desk team was very kind and pleasant, offering options for the local area that has a fair number of restaurants, fast food destinations, and stores. As mentioned, the hotel needs a remodel to meet expectations of a Hilton property, or possibly a rebranding. Although not terrible, there are better/newer options nearby.

The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and the beds were so comfortable. Since I travel with my dog it was great to know the hotel welcomes pets with no additional charge. They have great landscaping with several areas for dogs to potty with convenient poopy bags and "doggy pots" for pet waste. Breakfast was included with fresh breads and fruit plus various breakfast meats and eggs. Of course they have their waffle maker and though I didn't use it I noticed it was quick and the aroma of the waffles tempted me. The gardens are beautiful with abundant beautiful flowers of all kinds. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend this particular Hampton Inn.

We had a great stay at this hotel with the highlight being PHIL at the front desk! It seems he was made to work in hospitality and he made our stay exceptional. He was so kind, attentive, helpful, went out of his way to help us with many things. Thank you Phil for taking such good care of our family as there were many of us invading the lobby for hours! Phil deserves a raise or an award!! The rooms were clean and nice. The pool and hot tub are great! The breakfast is always delicious. As far as the facility, I got what I expected from a Hampton inn! The location is also super close to the airport and lots of shopping.
