Four Points by Sheraton Appleton

I can’t boast enough about our stay this weekend! I cannot wait to find a reason to stay here again. The service, the cleanliness and the amazing hot water powerful pressurized shower, wow!!! Midwest nice perfectly describes this place. We had at least 10 other families staying here and they all feel the same way. So take my post and multiply it by 10! Thanks Four Points- Marriott Sheraton!!

I’m currently staying at the Four Points by Sheraton Appleton, and I want to highlight the incredible service provided by the manager tonight. Managing both the front desk and the bar singlehandedly is a tough job, but they handled it with such professionalism, efficiency, and kindness. It’s clear they care deeply about ensuring guests have a great experience. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and welcoming, but it’s the hardworking staff like this manager who truly make it stand out. Thank you for going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this location to anyone visiting the area!

Check in was okay. Woman at the desk was a bit flustered because there were three people in line. Lobby was nice. No free breakfast. Room was fairly modern and nice. Rolling shower door would not stay closed. Had to hold it closed.

Stayed here for 5 nights, here's my review Rooms were alright, but I do have concerns with the cleanliness. The counters had coffee stains on them, the floors didn't seem completely swept, and the bathroom was pretty gross (I put pictures down below) The shower wall wasn't clean, and the toilet bowl had pee down to the floor (I'm a girl, it sure wasn't from me) Pretty gross when you are spending $200 a night. And the shower leaked, so when you got out of the shower, there would be a pool on the floor (and you only have 2 big towls to use and to clean it up with) But i will say the bed seemed clean and new sheets, so I guess that's the most important part. The internet was okay, it was never stable, usually between 20Mbps and 50Mbps, but doesn't matter when you have huge lag spikes. Staff was very nice but our cards were made incorrectly, so we had to revist the front desk, which was just another inconvenience. Also the only 1 treadmill didn't work, so that really sucked. Otherwise the workout room was okay, only 3 machines though, and like I said the one didn't work, so that was a huge bummer. And no complementary breakfast, you have to pay, which is also just annoying. Only really nice things was the location of this hotel, very close to food areas and a mall just a few minutes away. And the hotel bathrooms had complementary toiletries in them, which was very nice and rare to see.

I was delayed in Appleton due to bad weather and needed a hotel room for the night so I chose the Four Points. When I arrived the staff was multitasking away from the desk, but came back when she noticed me and gave me my keys. When I entered the room it was a standard layout and looked clean at first glance. Upon further review there were numerous things that I could see. First, the floor in the bathroom had water damage and was peeling up, then I noticed all the left over body hair around the bathtub. The shower pressure was also too high and felt like it was going to remove my skin. Secondly, the bed sheet was not clean and had dirt on it. Third, the closet door was broken and forced into a weird angle. Fourth, the air conditioner was as loud as a jet engine which made it near impossible to hear the TV and must have been the neighbors case as well as they were playing their TV at top volume too. Finally, and most disgusting, when I woke up, I moved the pillows to make sure I did not miss anything while checking out and found used ear plugs under them. I would also caution you not to pay for the breakfast "buffet", it is scrambled eggs and bacon and not worth the $14.99 There is a breakfast place about .8 miles down the road, which I walked to and for $13 got 2 fresh eggs made to order, coffee, biscuits and gravy, and hash browns. You may ask why I did not change my room and that was because I was tired from delayed flights and traveling and did not get the feeling the other rooms would be any better or that the staff would care.

The room and location is great, but the service is what stood out. The staff is absolutely amazing, especially Dayna and Margaret! Dayna greeted us with a smile at 11:30pm which is so rare. She was very accommodating and it felt like she understood we were coming in from a long day of travel. She quickly gave us our rooms and was very nice! Margaret at the bar was also amazing. She talked with us like we were long time friends. She gave us great service and treated us like valued guests, something that’s very rare in hospitality service nowadays. Margaret and Dayna are doing great things for this bar and I am so grateful for their service!

Budget friendly, clean, very kind staff. I always appreciate the absence of single-use bottles. Bed was comfy. Fitness room was tiny and not suited for a real workout, but good enough for some simple cardio and light dumbbell exercises. The only bummer is no airport shuttle…which is surprisingly not to be found at any of the chain hotels I looked at near the Appleton airport.

My favorite hotel in the Appleton area! Beautiful location, The rooms are very clean and modern. Cool bar area! My most favorite part of all of my stays is Dayna and David! So engaging and they always make it very easy and comforting for my stays. Thank you to this team and trust me I’m very meticulous about where I stay when traveling. Take it from me you’ll enjoy it!
