Candlewood Suites Appleton, an IHG Hotel

I was really impressed with how quiet this hotel was. Probably the quietest I've ever stayed at. The doors don't slam shut, which is a big contributor to this. Only caveat is the fan comes on with the light in the bathroom and it is not quiet. The location is very convenient to I-41 and several restaurants and some shopping. The room was very clean and didn't smell like chemical cleaners, which was very much appreciated. The lighting in the room is a bit odd and can be bothersome if one person is trying to sleep while the other is doing anything else -- opening the fridge, working at the desk, etc. I did appreciate the nightlight in the bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful establishment, and I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations. The kitchen was well-equipped and clean, making it easy to prepare meals. It was a great bonus to have such a convenient space available. Moreover, the atmosphere was wonderfully quiet, allowing for relaxation and rest after a busy day. The staff were attentive and friendly, contributing to a peaceful environment. If there's one area for improvement, it might be the addition of more communal activities to encourage guest interaction and adding hot breakfast, but overall, my experience was fantastic. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a serene getaway!

I have stayed on multiple occasions and the rooms are always clean with a full kitchen. Very nice hotel, although the hallway and lobby always smell of a very sweet overbearing smell.

This was close to where I was staying for business and also close to food options. The room was a comfortable temperature, clean, and I slept great. It was everything I needed for a short work trip and a good value.

I enjoyed my stay for the night. I came down for a reunion. This was just down the road. The employees were very helpful and polite. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms need to be updated and given a deep and thorough cleaning. The mattress in our room was at the end of its life. The cleaning staff is very friendly but they are stingy with the bath towels and other supplies. We were there over a month and finally just started buying our own supplies. The hotel is close to the mall and other stores.

The accommodations were nice. I just wanted more availability to ice. The rooms had ice machines in the refrigerator, but it takes awhile before it generates enough ice. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly.

The hotel’s convenient location near the airport and local attractions like Fox Valley Mall and Timber Rattler’s Stadium was well-received. Amenities such as the fitness center, laundry facilities, and an outdoor gazebo with a grill added to the convenience. Overall, I found my stay pleasant and would consider returning, especially appreciating the hotel’s cleanliness and convenient location.
