I had an outstanding stay at AmericInn by Wyndham Appleton Downtown! From the moment I walked in, the front‑desk team was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful—offering local tips for dining and attractions. My room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out, with plush bedding, a large flat‑screen TV, and a perfectly functioning mini‑fridge and microwave. I especially appreciated the complimentary hot breakfast each morning: the Belgian waffles were a hit, and there was a great selection of fresh fruit, yogurt, and piping‑hot coffee to get my day started. The free Wi‑Fi was fast and reliable, which made catching up on work a breeze. Location can’t be beat—just a quick walk to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center and within easy reach of downtown shops and restaurants. Parking was plentiful and secure, and the property felt quiet and safe. Overall, AmericInn by Wyndham Appleton Downtown delivers excellent value, top‑notch service, and a comfortable, modern stay. Highly recommended!

Definitely one of the funnest hotels I’ve been to in a while. The staff was great. The rooms are clean and fully stocked of your basic essentials. The rooms ACTUALLY SMELL GOOD! The pool was super big and the hot tub is definitely a vibe. Will def come back. Not to mention the delicious free breakfast included. I have a picky eater of a daughter and even she ate eggs, sausage, potato’s and pancakes. There was apple and orange juice as well.

The hotel was more dated than I expected from the photos. When I booked the room I specifically asked for a room with a refrigerator in it. When I checked in and got to the room, the refrigerator in the room did not work. We had to be moved to another room. The room itself was clean. The pool area was very spacious. It had a nice hot tub as well. However, there were tons of unsupervised young children running around and constantly jumping in the hot tub. There were also never any pools towels available. Every time I went to the desk and asked for pool towels I was told they were out. The hotel offered breakfast vouchers for the Mad Apple restaurant which was attached. I thought it was going to be a perk since it was an actual restaurant, but to my surprise it was definitely not, the food was awful.

I stayed for 1 week with my husband and my two-year-old son. My two-year-old son has behavioral issues, autism and he has a hard time calming down once he gets into a fit. Unfortunately, they had to move a few people out of the room's next to us. Because my son would cry a lot. It's not my fault and then we were asked to leave the hotel because of it.|| Not to mention we are homeless. We had funding and we have the money to stay here.Now we will be have nowhere to go, it was not our fault. Why not move us to a different area? Where there's not so many people. Because there's literally nothing. I can do about home. My son behaves I thought it was completely ridiculous.|| Not to mention all the family members of the employees that are here running around. In the favoritism with guess and the drug addicts.And all the legal activity that goes on here , not to mention the bed bugs.!!

Nice place, room was clean, a bit dated but fine. Also the pool area was very nice covered, with a large amount of chairs and friendly staff. The Continental breakfast at the attached restaurant could use a bit of variety and a daily changeup, maybe some toast and pastries.

Positive: The beds were comfortable and the staff was awesome! Negative: When I did the deal to get a room between 3 different hotels, I was highly disappointed that this one was even in the running with the caliber that the other hotels in this deal were. This hotel was dated, looks and felt very sketchy.

I really enjoyed our stay. The employees were very kind and helpful. We found the chair in our room was broken, and they immediately fixed it and were all around attentive. When we (notice I said we--not them) made a mistake with our tax exempt, they immediately fixed it.
