NillI booked a Jacuzzi room on 12/24/24 (Christmas Eve) and was assured it was pet friendly from the Wyndham representative. And after driving hours and upon arrival I was refused the room and given another room of lesser value but was still charged the higher rate. Also very odd they would only take the pet fee in cash. There was only one gentleman who unfortunately could not speak English and was doing the check in on the phone over speaker phone with the manager. The manager said it's not his problem that Wyndham said that the jacuzzi room would be pet friendly and to take it up with Wyndham. I called Windham and their representative recommended that I rent a room from someplace else and check out from the one I was in because I was only there for an hour or so and was instructed to call and let them know that I had checked out. The Wyndham representative said that I would be made whole. And I never was, I was only given 3,000 points worth $50 on a room that I paid $120 for. I have been charged and not been refunded like I was promised from Wyndham. All of this should be on file when I called Wyndham and all of this should have been recorded when I was on the phone, nobody ever got back to me. I had to get tossed back and forth within Wyndham for hours on the phone to get only 50 dollars in points. Who would I call at the daysinn to get this settled? Because it was the manager who said it's not his problem.

NillThis hotel was absolutely disgusting. We arrived here at 1 am and the towels not only had stains on them but holes as well. Our main room door also had exposed wires on the back of it. I booked this hotel in advance. When we got here this was the only pet friendly available room however they did not meet any acceptable standards; dirty, stained towels with holes in the bathroom. At the moment I was too exhausted to complain as we had been driving a long time. I have booked with days inn before multiple times while travelling and this was below any acceptable standards I’ve ever seen. The room looked like they were in the middle of renovations. I did not trust having breakfast here given the towel situation, hence why we left promptly after checking out. Would never recommend spending the night at this location.

NillI am surprised by the amount of reviews that said the hotel is clean. The sheets and towels all looked pretty old. They might have been washed, but the stains and marks on them make them really dirty looking and need to be changed. One of the towels in the bathroom still had a piece of hair hanging off of it. I didn’t expect a spacious and luxurious space, but I did not think a hotel should have such rusty shower. There are other minor faulty issues that could be overlooked such as one of the outlets went out all of sudden. There was also a stack of political signs (not displayed yet) stored in the lobby, which seems odd for a hotel to have any sort of political messages.

★★★★★Days inn Eau claire||Short notice booking due to a change in my plans, very good location, Mcdonalds and Truck stop next door.|Greeted by the manager, very nice helpful man. Gave me a free upgrade to room 200 a king size room. Room was excellent, very clean and well prepared. |Wifi a good 70 Meg. |Massive King sized bed in the room. |Nice work desk and chair. |Pleased to recommend. |NFC locks on the doors, for when your hands are full.||Try the Altoona Faminly Diner a few miles down the road for a great breakfast.

NillThis was one of the cheapest hotels in the area that had a pool. It has a small but free breakfast that was nice. Not the cleanest hotel I have ever been too but the price was right, the beds were comfortable and we were happy with our stay. I have read some bad reviews and heard some people complain while we were here. To those people I say, you get what you pay for. With the cheap price what more were you expecting? Oh. I do have to say the staff was very friendly. Saying hi and getting towels etc. That stuff goes a long way.

NillI wouldn't stay again ever. Rooms dirty and musty. The worst concern was someone pounding on a door somewhere near us. Then a bunch of yelling at 1:30am. No thanks. Just was trying to get a good night's rest while traveling.

NillWhat struck me the most was that there was no water or juice at breakfast and the worst thing was that the yoghurts were all expired, imagine your child eating them and getting a food infection, the room was okay, the pool was empty, unfortunately if you want to stay there, take something to eat for breakfast.

★★★★★The room was more than sufficient and very clean. The breakfast was very good with fresh fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and of course waffles! It’s not always you find cereals and milk but they did have that too! Location was great and we enjoyed playing tourists in Eau Claire!
