Candlewood Suites Milwaukee Airport-Oak Creek by IHG

The ladies at the front desk have great personalities and the rooms are beyond nice. We booked two separate rooms for our vacation and we loved it so much that we’ll be returning again in August. Oh, did I mention they’re also pet friendly our little fur baby even loved the room.

Stayed here for three weeks for a flight attendant training class. Room was spacious and nicely appointed, bed and pillows were comfortable, sheets were very nice, and hotel staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel like family. The 24 hour free laundry room was a very much appreciated and unexpected amenity. I would stay here again.

We just checked out and while the room was clean and the beds were comfy the room was extremely hot. We checked in around 8pm and when we got to the room it was like walking into an oven. We thought the room would cool down quickly since outdoor temperatures were in the teens. We turned the heat off and started settling in. Well, the room did not cool down, even with the window cracked open. We ran the air conditioning all night and we were still too warm. We didn’t bring it to the attention of the front desk till checkout because we didn’t want the hassle of moving rooms or waiting around for maintenance with a limited amount of time to sleep before getting back on the road. Lesson learned…next time complain immediately. The front desk was friendly but not especially helpful (ie: directing us to where our room was or amenities). I asked for a safety pin, but they didn’t have any….sometimes it’s the small details that mean the most where hospitality is concerned.

I came for a law school conference. Everyone from the front desk personnel to the shuttle driver were extra terrific and courteous. I plan to come again for a personal retreat when I prepare to study for the bar exam. Dawn and Angie were especially nice and helpful! However, everyone on the front desk were overly accommodating, but I just did not get their names. The only thing that was missing that has been in all of the other Candlewood Suites that I have stayed in has been the table and chairs for the kitchenette to eat a meal at. Otherwise everything else was great!!! I look forward to traveling there again for my study trip. Sincerely, Marylyn from Baton Rouge, La.

This property is staffed by some amazingly kind people who checked in on myself and my colleagues while we were in town and staying here during our training. I recommend this hotel highly, and I hope I get to stay here and visit again. The shuttle service and parking were convenient and helpful as well!

Ashley gave impeccable service tonight when I arrived. She was friendly, and when there was an issue with my door handle being low on batteries, ran downstairs to get new batteries. When that didn’t work, she got me into another room right away. Excellent customer service!!

Room was good, albeit slightly dated. Great location. Caveat is that the airport shuttle was initially “full” & nothing could be done. After some complaints, suddenly space opened up. Odd that there wasn’t space until we said we’d call corporate-then there was.

I have traveled quite a bit and stay at IGH hotels primarily. Front Desk Rep was the best I have experienced in a long time. Ashley, was courteous, helpful and efficient! It was nice to be treated well at the end of my travel trip. Especially when flight canceled and needed to stay one more night. It was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this Hotel...
