Courtyard Wausau

My sister and I had to stop on our drive from Minneapolis to Oshkosh WI on Sunday due to the horrific weather. The staff was (all) kind and welcoming. The room was lovely - clean, well appointed and the set up was perfect. We particularly enjoyed the cafe area and bar (booths will individual tvs was such a nice surprise. We both highly recommend!

The staff is fantastic! I arrived early and they were able to get me a room. They also made some nice recommendations for restaurants. The rooms have been updated and everything was terrific. I would definitely stay here again!

As a Titanium Platinum Elite Rewards member, I've traveled extensively throughout my career and stayed at numerous Marriott properties. Without a doubt, this is the nicest Courtyard I've ever stayed at, and I highly recommend it.||The circumstances for our stay were not ideal—my 90-year-old father was in the Cardiac ICU at Aspirus Hospital. However, the staff made us feel extra special and genuinely cared about our situation. My mom, wife, and kids all stayed here at different times from late December to mid-January.||I highly recommend this hotel and want to give a special shout-out to Michael and Tao at the front desk, Lauretta in the Bistro, and Daniel Berg, the General Manager. You were all amazing! Thank you for making our time in Wausau memorable and for your heartfelt care! 🙌❤️

Hotel / its rooms are updated and comfortable. All staff were professional and friendly. Good food & atmosphere at the bar / bistro downstairs. Only negative comment is that we were specifically asked if we wanted to the room cleaned and this never happened. The room was never cleaned.

Staff were accommodating and friendly, if somewhat disorganized, though they made up for it with generosity. Very disappointed that the pool has been removed - should be updated on their website. They're currently undergoing renovations, and I honestly wouldn't stay there until they have it all resolved. But by the time I visit Wausau again anyways they'll probably be done, so staying here is a good option I look forward to. Unless I can find a Marriott with a pool elsewhere.

We stayed as a family in four rooms to attend a weekend family event. Hotel is being updated and the newly remodeled rooms are very nice. The staff here is fantastic. They have been so helpful to all of us and really made a great experience for us. Some of the best service I have experienced from the entire staff. |Will be my place to stay when in Wausau area.

I stayed in one of the renovated rooms during their renovation. Very nice rooms. Like what they have done to the common areas. Looks like they are getting close to being done with the remodel. Service was excellent!!!!!! Walking distance to a nice pub next door.

I just wanted to write a review about how amazing Lauretta is. I work in hotels, and I wish I could sweep her away to the Twin Cities to work at my hotel. She is very friendly, charismatic and she pays attention to details. My family was staying here for a quick weekend ski trip, and we had a great stay. Lauretta, I used you as an example of excellence at my annual all-staff meeting yesterday. We'll be back next year!
