We have been staying in the Redwood at Maplewood for many years and the cabins are always clean and comfortable. The resort has a great beach, piers and views of the lake. Sam and Andrew do a great job taking care of things. Great family vacation spot but also good for couples and fishing groups.

We are 2 seniors that stayed in Greenwood Condo at Maplewood Resort for the first time. Pros: the owners should know they are in the best of hands with the managers, Samantha and Andrew who are on premise. Also the maintained grounds and accomodations are well kept. Cons: Need a larger|parking area to accomodated boat trailers along with the vehicle that pull the trailers. Also the launch is not on Dam Lake but on Sand lake which is nearby but extreamly busy on the weekends. We would love to stay there but can't because of inadaquate parking.

PERFECT RESORT FOR FAMILY VACATION! Our family had an amazing vacation at Maplewood Resorts! The resort has a lot to offer, the lake is perfect for fishing and tubing and there are several activities to do in the surrounding area. The resort is set up perfect, so it is a short walk to the beach and the beach itself is sandy and well taken care of. All the kids loved it, from our 2 year old to our 17 year old. The managers have put a lot of thought into making the stay as gracious and enjoyable as possible. Will definitely plan on making a return trip!

Went there on vacation. My group of friends and family took over a few of the cabins. Throughout the week, there were 23 of us Including our children. All of the cabins had Wi-Fi TV's plenty of living space and bedrooms Heat and AC. The grounds and cabins were clean and well kept and had plenty of parking. 👌. My cabin was wheelchair accessible. I have a son-in a wheelchair. Some of the other cabins were not. It is located on the dam Lake chain. They have boat docks and a beach plenty of room to play and get to know your neighbors. It is located near lots of other attractions in the area. Like Elmer's fun park is located within minutes away. It's one of my children's favorite places to go. But it's still not too busy and pretty quiet. Other combinations had multiple community fire pits with firewood and a fish cleaning shack, kids play area and rowboats, and other motor boats that you could rent. It's a perfect place to stay for a Northwest adventure. Some of us booked cabins for next year already. You have to book early or they will not be available.

This was our family's first week at Maplewood after spending the past 50ish summers at a few different resorts in the Sugar Camp/Rhinelander area. Our group had 6 of the available cabins to rent, and everyone was very pleased with the cleanliness/amenities in each of the cabins. As has been mentioned in previous posts, Andy and Donna are wonderful at the management aspect of the resort. They are appropriately visible, and welcoming from the moment you arrive until the time you depart. The beach/common area is very nice, and Andy works meticulously to keep it clean. Another great benefit is the ability to rent the pontoon for the week as well. Overall, we loved our stay at Maplewood and will be coming back.

We stayed at the Greenwood cabin over Memorial Day, highly recommend it. Andy actually helps you launch your boat, and retrieve it, which is unique in this business and very helpful. The cabin is perfect for a small family in that the loft has a door and full bath allowing kid(s) to have their own space. The view of the lake is great, one 100' extension cord reaches from deck outlet to dock. The cabin is modern and comfortable, was very clean. The resort had a nice beach and watercraft rentals. Dock was very nice with good bumpers on posts to avoid boat damage. Note: I did not rate this "luxury" but it's definitely a step above a lot of the aged northwoods accomodations. Nice place to stay, very comfortable and pleasant.

We stayed at Maplewood Resort in early June and everything was great. The grounds are well maintained and kept up. The beach is very nice, although we didn't use it. It was too cold and we were there for fishing. The cabin was great. We stayed in the Driftwood. We made good use of the fish cleaning house and it was very nice with running water, newspaper and trash bags available. The owners were great and very nice. I would recommend Maplewood Resort for a great northwoods vacation. They have a small playground, swings, and a slide on the beach for the family. They also have kayaks and canoes available and plenty of dock space for your boat. Once the weather turned better the fishing got really good. Caught tons of crappies and had a lot of fun and had a great fish fry. It was a great vacation.

Had a great time! Super easy to get all scheduled. Loved that the boat rentals were ready and waiting for the first day of the trip, and caught a bunch fish! My family will definitely be returning for our winter trip to Maplewood!!!
