The Courtyard Homestay

Courtyard's a great homestay property by Mr Rishi. It's a mixture of traditional style with modern amenities. The Kerala mural painting, madhubani arts, Tanjore paintings and other artifacts give the property a great asthetic ambience. The service also was extraordinary. They've arranged campfire both the nights we stayed. They also prepared food which was very tasty and hygienic. The coffee estate surrounding the house offers a must-have morning walk with hilly terrain and a creek within the property. Overall it's an affordable stay that can give completeness to your vacation.

Highly recommend Courtyard homestays for those who are planning a trip to Chikmagalur. It's close to the city and closer to nature. The hospitality is awesome and the food tastes great! (All 3 meals). Rishi is an exceptional person and a great host. Goes out of the way to accomodate requests. We went for a friend's birthday and bachelors. We were 20 of us and 1) food was always on time 2) no restrictions on music 3) great stream inside the property to chill. 4) very clean property and staff cleans it everyday. Will surely come back soon.

Been a wonderful experience in midst of nature. Hospitality and food was amazing. Happy that the house keeping and cooking staff has accomodated our requests especially for our young kids. Will definitely recommend stay for families looking for a calm stay.

We stayed at the Courtyard for a night and were extremely impressed with the property. Mr Rishi went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay. The chef and the server were immaculate with the service. All in all a great experience. Highly recommend the Courtyard, Chikmagalur!!

We recently had a 2 day stay at the courtyard. The plantation as such is breathtaking with a stream just behind the home. The Courtyard is a beautiful traditional home with all the amenities. Guru who is the caretaker was always around helping us out with a smile. The food provided by their cook was a south indian treat. And coffee was divine !. Mr.Ashwin was a very hospitable host constantly in touch ,making sure our stay was pleasant. Would love to visit and stay here again just to feel one with nature . Wonderful experience .

The Courtyard was a great experience on our stay with friends and a baby along. The ambience of property is an extremely relaxed one with endless possibilities to soak serenity in any corner. The food is unique and all meals were relished. The caretaker was super accommodating to take care of baby needs at odd hours too. For us the highlight of trip was the off-road trail to secluded peaks that the host was really kind to take us to. The experience is unparalleled and we look forward to recommending it to our friends visiting down south.

We would recommend this plantation stay to all anytime. The hospitality and the warmth of the hosts made us feel like family and at home and comfortable with the place for the entire duration. The food and the caretakers complemented this as all our requests for specific dishes were fully taken care and we were served hygienic lip smacking food throughout our stay. The place is easy to locate as it's just off the road and you won't have much difficulty reaching here. The courtyard home and plantation walk and the serene stream flowing across the backyard soothed our minds and were much needed time out off our hectic schedule in the city.
