Tan wood homestay

I got reference of Tan Wood from my friend. It is a very nice property, located inside a beautiful coffee garden. There are 5-6 cute cottages, each cottage has a lovely balcony. It is surrounded by long silver oak trees, coffee plants and black pepper plants. It is an ideal place if you love to stay in a quite place inside nature. Owner of this property, Mr Asif, is a perfect gentleman, who not only make sure your stay is comfortable, but also can guide you with local sight seeing. Breakfast and dinner were included in the package. I must say, you will get awesome food there, home cooked tasty food. Overall, I had a very good experience.

We friends came for a vacation with no expectations. We were pleasantly surprised with the clean, well maintained facilities and fully organised stay. Special mention about Lokesh who is the caretaker and doubles as a cook. Polite and professional throughout. Amazing food, tastes right, good choices for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner.

Great place to fulfil your desire of staying at an estate, surrounded by acres of plantations and nature, bang on the main road but still offering solitude, well kept rooms with options to stay with large/small family or friends and a bonfire to gather around and celebrate. Special mention to the delicious food that was served piping hot, don’t miss the adrak wali chai.

We booked this place by booking advance but just before few days before our trip the owner suggested us to stay in Mountain Valley homestay by giving us a reason that his property was on sale. Not sure if that was the true reason.

We had a great experience in Tan Wood homestay. The rooms were very spacious and clean and the food was homemade and was very delicious and yummy. Onwer Mr.ASIF ALI was very supportive throughout our stay and assisted us very friendly we enjoyed the stay and food heart fully. Recommended to friends and family.

Recently visited Chickmagluru, I had an amazing experience at this homestay :- Tan Wood. The place is impeccably maintained, with a strong focus on hygiene. I had a gala time at Tan woods. It's a beautiful property amidst coffee plantations and pepper vines. Very well maintained and efficiently run. The food is delicious but the showstopper is their coffee. Bet you can't resist having a couple of cups a day. Definitely recommend.

Location- 10/10 Cleanliness - 10/10 Food- 9/10 Service- 9/10 Stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful time.. It was a perfect getaway amidst coffee plantation and silver oak trees.. the bonfire and music was the highlight. P.S. Mr. Asif Ali is a wonderful host. He makes sure to make the stay pleasant and a memorable one. Anything you need during the stay, he is just a call away.
