I've stayed here 6 times since 2014.Lovely hotel. Sheela who runs it is amazing and very knowledgeable about the area. Rooms are clean and wifi is free. Fridge downstairs is very useful if you want frozen cold water during the hot afternoons. I will return again.

Santa Cruz is ideally located with a lot of restaurants close by and walkable distance to the famous Fort Kochi beach. They have around 12 rooms with double sharing cots in each rooms. Rooms are small but neat and clean with absolutely no ventilation. At night it is too noisy with the guests talking to each other that disturbs one's sleep. Just hop out and you have a variety of choice of restaurants that will amaze you. Santa Cruz Basalica is next door and the famous St. Francis Church at less than 100 mts. away. The Manager , a lady is very helpful and co-operative in attending to the guests.

600 rupees for a double room with an attached washroom, no window to the outside, only the hallway. The washroom did get very smelly since there was no air. Great front balcony to chill and socialize. Shelia, the local women working during the day was soooo sweet. She let us use their kitchen supplies when needed. She arranged tickets to the Kerala Kathatkali Centre. The location was central, walking distance to everything.

I stayed here in Feb 2014 in ground floor room. At R500 it was godd value for money. People were friendly. The owner's son has a dental practice nearby and he is definitely NOT value for money and should be avoided.

If you're on a v low budget this if ht be the one for you. Well positioned r princess street. Friendly staff. Fans. Nets in 2 rooms. Cheap! Probably the cheapest this close to the centre. I was paying 300rs per night. You should probably bring your own sheet or blanket.

The building is unclean, and the staff have an unwelcoming attitude. We found mould growing on our pillow, and when we showed the women on the desk she actually found it amusing and laughed at us. The lead us to leave as soon as possible, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Lovely place,my second visit. Superbly run by the excellent Sheela. Great location and Sheela has a wealth of knowledge about what is worth seeing in the area.
