NillI had the best experience staying here. Geeta and Alex made me feel at home straight away, they treated me like family. Alex came with me to buy a sim card and even fixed my torn bag for me. Lovely Geeta prepared coffee every morning, and they both helped me however they could and gave some great recommendations. The guestrooms are above their house which makes it feel extra homey and safe, and the whole place is super clean. Great location too, short walking distance to everything you need. I highly recommend staying here, I will definitely be back.

NillI found this place by walking in the city. They were very welcoming and helpful so I decided to stay. The location is very quiet but it’s still walking distance from good restaurants and cultural events. Alex was really caring and even at sunday evening he called his friend to help me arrange my train ticket to Goa. I felt very safe and cosy at their place.

NillEXCELLENT HOMESTAY <3. Alex and family went above and beyond to help me. What a steal this nice, clean, safe homestay was. The view of Santa Cruz park an added bonus. Thanks to them for a very great stay.

NillThe rooms were super clean and well organised. I would definitely recommend this homestay. And the host Mr. Alex and his family was the most humble and welcoming and ensured that I was comfortable and made me feel like home. I would love to stay again here while I visit fort Kochi. Thank you for the amazing food and the Hospitality and would happily come back again.

★★★★This homestay felt like a refuge in the heart of the city. It was a nice relaxing place to hang out. The upstairs balcony looking over the soccer/cricket field was lovely. The rooms were pretty hot at night with just the fans going, but that has more to do with the weather than anything. ||The family was nice and helpful. We had a bit of an issue with our Agoda booking (which still hasn't been resolved - but that's Agoda's fault and not Hebron's at all - Alex seemed just as concerned with the problem too). Otherwise they helped us with bus information (and even dropping us off at the bus strop!) and set us up to go to the nearby Kathakali show.

NillWe had a very nice stay here and the family is very kind. We were looking for a homestay in the middle of the night and no one opened the door for us, but Alex and his wife did. The Location is also perfect, everything is very nearby. We liked it alot that there is a sportsfield in front of the homestay so you can watch schoolkids play in the end of the afternoon.

★★★★This place is lovely. The family are lovely and genuine. It is indeed a homestay as the owners live their lives from their home and are very welcoming. Please be aware, their rooms don't have AC and their website doesn't say they do, but my booking.com receipt said that they did. Not the owners' fault. We also had an arrangement about a specific room by email that the owner had forgotten, which caused an initial confusion and disappointment when we arrived late at night (everybody too tired), but he sorted it out the next day, quickly and genuinely acknowledging his mistake and then we were then very happy indeed. All of Cochi is very hot and all fans work hard to cool rooms. If you want AC, you will have to pay quite a bit more somewhere else. This place is very good for mozzies. It's just a hop to Princess St and a lovely amble to the beaches and nets etc with the surrounding bustling marlets. A rickshaw anywhere is cheap but you will often have to go into a posh shop and 'look' so that the driver can get a bag of rice (if you like your driver and want to help him).||Food in Cochi is cheaper then other cities, and there are good restaurants all around the Hebron.||You can book a day trip on the canal boats through the Hebron, and it is the same price everywhere (but the owner does not have a credit card facility of course). Many love this trip, but I actually got sunstroke. Might have been better with the shorter trip which was probably enough for me. We were introduced to village women who twist ropes at 1 rupees per rope. Many Westerners cannot understand the lack of affluence (and therefore amenities) in the country they have chosen to visit.||||The owners were very kind and let us store our bags there on our last day in India, and even have use of a room to shower and toilet until our late flight. I don't expect this of any hotel: check out is usually strictly 10 or 12. This was an act of kindness on their part and my family really appreciated it. These guys were genuine and lovely, compassionate and caring, and their sons were also lovely.
