Oy's in Restaurant with Home Stay

My partner and I have stayed here twice in recent months. The first time we stayed in one of the front bedrooms for four nights. It was clean, nicely decorated and furnished and most of the time had hot water. It also had a really nice balcony to sit and relax whilst watching the world go by. It's a little noisy at the front of the house but it is on a main road so to be expected. The owner is a really friendly woman who made us feel welcome. ||||We went back a few weeks later but there was only one room available, this time at the back of the house. This room felt very different to the other that we'd stayed in. It was in need of a paint job, in need of a clean, and the shower head needed replacing. We wanted somewhere comfortable to stay as it's our last stop in India before we move on, but this was not right for us. We left the next morning, having found somewhere more to our needs and only a little more expensive.

We happened upon this place on our last day in Kerala. The food (Veg plate) was very good, and excellent value. The staff were perhaps the friendliest that we met in Kerala, and that's saying something as we met lots of lovely people on our trip. we would definitely return.

Excellent Kiwi / Indian cafe. Excellent wifi and friendly service. We came here twice during our stay in Kochi. Prices are a little higher than other places but the place is very comfortable. There is a great menu and drinks are made with ice from mineral water

Very nice cafe with great ambiance. Serve great coffee. The menu looked good too although we never ate here. Very cool and attentive staff. I would consider staying here if we returned to Kochi in the future

Very comfortable place, run by hospitable local ladies who can cook to your hearts content. Tasty breakfast and lunch dishes available. Yummy juice and smoothies too. Overall would recommend, dont miss it!

Lovely, peaceful cafe, with great ambiance,comfortable seats, interesting photos on the walls. Good food - went for snacks only. Very good coffee. Had a nice time, staff very pleasant and helpful. Will go back!

Loved the food. Chapati , veg curry and dal fry. Never had this unique taste before. Will go there next the. Please mind the preparation time it would take 30 minutes to get the food.

After multiple promises of the ordered food's arrival in 5 minutes, after 2 hours good, but very small portions appeared. Nice food, but definitely not worth the ridiculous wait.
