Very rude owner and we believe something fishy is happening at night, family please stay away and thy don't allow kids, better stay away and stay safe from this place, foreigners please be careful

Worst place to stay. Owner hates kids so if you have kids he is acting weird. Owner is her rude and talks rubbish

No value for money and rude owner:- Stayed for one night and vacated next morning due to no facilities and utmost rudeness from owner Ashokan. Sheets were not changed, just they made again with ants crawling, blanket was not given for AC room and when I asked he was very reluctant and gave one thin single bedspread. Zero amenities and single plug point, that too they off main supply to room when you are away, no way one can charge anything. Check out time is 10 am which he did not say clearly and knocked door post 9 45 am and asked us to leave. Only thing owner concerned is money. For 1700, you can get better rooms on cliff with good amenities.

Stayed here for 5 nights and had a really comfortable stay. The house is in a great location in the cliff, but set back slightly from the main street which meant it was also nice and quiet.The room was clean and a good size, with a good mosquito net and big bathroom. We also had a small balcony area with chairs and hammock which was great for chilling out. I would happily stay here again.

Stayed here for 25 nights in ac room. Very clean and friendly guy running it. Nice to sit on the shared balcony with the sea breeze and relax. Close to everything. Good price compared to the rest of the cliff.

Very bad attitude towards women. Horrible reception from home owners. We had booked the place 2 weeks prior New year's eve and when we called them to inform our arrival time, they had responded to us rudely saying we hadn't booked. We had to convince them to check again after which they had confirmed. They had also collected extra money as online compensation fee which was not mentioned in the mail that we had received. We found the rooms to be clean but because of their attitude towards women, we would not recommend this place to any indian female travellers.

Very nice and clean hotel. The rooms are spotless clean, and all have mosquitonets.||Location is perfect, just 10 meters fom the Cliff road, It is a quit location, under the palmtrees. All rooms have balcony.Entrance is by Juice Shack, a perfect place for healthy juices, and by breakfast, you see jumping Dolphins in the sea. Stunning views from here, and stunning sunset views everywhere from the cliff. In low season, the values are great.When I stay in Varkala, I allways stay in Cliff House.

I stayed here last year. It was ok. ||This year I called,wrote and sms’d the boss. Responded by phone. I said please write down the reservation. Arriving yesterday, no res. Sent me to another place. Disgusting. After one night nosstaying at Prasanthi. Better. Owner of cliff house is indifferent at best. Far from hospitable. Promised another room yeaterday and today said no room. ||Plenty of other places to stay. This one can be avoided. No pride in ownership. They clearly don’t give a hoot. ||Photo is not representative of actual view. ||Thank you.
