OCEAN EYES

You never would've imagined such worst rooms, useless cupboard, ultra slow fan, no hangers in bathrooms but fortunately they have shower where you can hang your towels if u wish and one best thing is, if you are in a urge to use bathrooms you need not to knock, you can directly open and use as there are no latches inside the bathroom and all this at high room rent too. If you wish to enjoy your trip at varkala please don't book here.

We booked it through booking.com. The expectation is shattered somehow. 1. The rooms are non AC even though charges are high( @4500) with very basic furniture( not even a mirror or a mere shelf). The pillow, bed all are very shanty. 2. The front door is kept always open even at night. 3. No privacy from other guests as for few rooms have common washroom. 4. Almost two kilometres away from VARKALA beach. It took us 20-30 min to go to beach. no proper signage at main road( we lost our way twice) The owner ( at least he claimed so) was trying his level best to meet up the need once asked still I would not suggest this homestay at all.

The location is somewhat inside but peaceful. Booked for 3 people and when we showedup he was protraying as if he is giving extra bed(2 inch mattress topper)for free. The mattress on the bed was either made up of cement or solid wood, impressed by how it was actually covered by mattress cloth to make it look like a mattress. it was supported by 1 inch mattress topper which is basically of no use. no working Wifi was provided. No water till the night.

Worst and disgusting place i ever say full of cigarettes and drugs. Money isn't refundable if scam had another name then it would be ocean eyes. Rooms which are not even worth for 100rs has been charged around 4000. Pakka bull shit hotel its better to stay in platform rather in ocean eyes. Save money and dont go 👍
