Hotel PLR Grand

Pros: Okay service, okay location. Pleasantly surprised there were no roaches or other insects in the room or bathroom. We stayed on the 3rd floor. Hot water was really good with no disruptions. Cons: Very dusty, dirty rooms with a lot of cobwebs all over the place. You can hear every noise outside the hotel and in the hallway. The whole place (including the rooms, the lobby, the washrooms in the lobby, and the sheets/towels) looks like it was cleaned just once when the hotel was constructed and then never again. The place is very outdated and has a lot of really old and dirty furniture, walls, and fixtures. The bathrooms in the rooms are really dirty and old, and the washrooms in the lobby smell so, so bad and is so dirty. Would really recommend they hire a cleaning staff because it looks like they don't have anyone to do that job.

Location is great , room is old fashioned and bathroom stinks bathrooms are too old fashioned faucets are very old and dont not operate properly they are making new interiors while i was staying there ,reception staff does not know multiple language . I recommend if you are on a budget trip then this will be good but if you want to stay comfortably then find something else. Bathrooms are too bad , WC area is very small you can even sit properly , lobby does not has AC , manager is rude

Apart from location I don't find anything good about this hotel. But this isn't the reason I am posting this review. Major reason is the staff behavior at reception especially the person named Nagendra. We reached early in the morning and our checkin time was 11am. I asked for early checkin and I was ready to pay for that. They had the rooms available but he didn't want to give it to us because I booked the hotel through online. That is also fine if it's hotel policy but they made me and my family with an infant sit in the lobby where there was no AC/fan and was full of mosquitoes, while they were sitting in front of us under the fan. That ticked me off and I shouted on them. Then they provided the room immediately. I felt that they intentionally misbehaving with customers who booked through online. It is not about customer service, people should have basic humanity while dealing with other people.

Me and my family went there through Tripathi package and this is our review. Pros: The location, just one step away from the bus stand. Cons: - Dusty room. Zero hygienic place. - Not cleaned, rusted and old fashioned bathroom. - Food was mediocre - Staff wasn’t helpful - Their common restroom is a swimming pool and nobody is there to clean it. Overall very bad experience.

Walking distance from Bus stand. Room are so old fashioned and not enough ventilated. One cannot open the windows as it's very noisy outside. Bad smell if AC is not turned on. Bathroom fittings are not good and there is no sitting in bathroom. Service: I demanded a fresh towel and I had to go to reception to ask for their storage to collect it. You can imagine the service. Food: They have a pure veg restaurant called Dakshin. I spotted cockroach there and informed the guy cafeteria manager. However his looks were like it's normal. I took the MAP and food served in dinner was not upto the mark. All in all, avoid staying.

The location of this hotel is very near to Bus stand.Thats the only benefit to us.But the rooms are not that much clean.Bathrooms are two worst.Common washrooms that are on the ground floor and -1 floor are filled with water.Even we can't keep our legs in the washroom.Highly disappointed from this hotel

Good service. The breakfast was nice and simple. Rooms, ac etc were well enough. Washrooms were not dirty but could be better cleaned though.

Hey all, I had very bad experience at Hotel PLR Grand in Tirupathi. I need an early check in and requested them before day. They said you can get it with a charge. I agreed. Next day when I arrived they denied giving me room saying not available. They made a false promise and made me to sit for 3.5 hours. Then for 2 hours they wanted to charge around 1200 which is so ridiculous honestly. Staff were very rude and speak very reckless. They really dont know how to serve the customer. They were offering room to others but least cared about the person who had prior booking. Very bad service and i recommend people not to choose it. Worst at their best.
