Golden Rock, Dharamshala - AM Hotel Kollection

My experience in this hotel was comfortable. Rooms were clean and provided with necessities. Staff were friendly and polite. Interior of the hotel was also good. Owner of the hotel was friendly and polite. He ensured are stay to be comfortable. Food was hygienic and tasty. In short its a worth stay hotel.

Hotel is good but situated on a top and far from McLeod Ganj so way to go to hotel is very risky, food and breakfast in hotel is not up to the mark. Rooms are good and staff is supportive.

Cons: The 3rd floor of the hotel is under construction. There is no lift. I read numerous Google reviews of this hotel wherein reviews mention "beautiful mountain views". Pl be very clear there is no mountain view. All u can see is the surrounding neighborhood houses & homestays. Pro: The breakfast provided is decent. The owner of this hotel is a very polite & helpful person. The owner's attitude towards the customer service is indeed appreciable & compensates for all Cons mentioned above. The approach road is narrow. This is the problem with most of the hotels in Dharmashala. Therefore hire a vehicle with driver experienced in such areas.

Decent hotel with a good balcony view. However, it is quite hard to reach due to a sharp turn and steep road. Absolutely loved the food!! You should not miss out on their food at all. The staff was very helpful and prompt. Everything was good apart from the reachability.

This hotel is a clean cozy place and is in the middle of pine forests on the way to Bhagsu. The approach to the hotel is not easy to find. But the folks who run the place provided impeccable service and were extremely helpful. Served dinner during late hours and were extremely cordial in the services. Would give them a 4 star rating for the services and hospitality

Nice place in the serenity of nature. Surrounded by palm trees and guarded by the mighty Dhauladhars. Staff members are extremely helpful and professional. Room are clean and spacious with seperate balcony with awesome views. Food is good, you can opt for food prepared in local style and spices. They also arranged for Trek to Triund top and stay. Golden Rock highly recommended.👍

Very much impressed by the hotel staff who is polite & good enough in providing the services on the very first call. Adding on to the beauty and uniqueness of this hotel is its awesome food with quite a proximity with Bhagsu Nag Mandir & Waterfalls…. The only thing that becomes cumbersome is to get to the hotel; which lies in steepways…. Parking space is good enough…. Rooms are good and clean with good hospitality…. Highly recommended if you want to give some peace and clam to your body and a good sleep… 😊

Location: A bit way inside from mcleodganj chowk. You have to walk up high for the main road. Room: Rooms are good but need more attention for repairs. Beds are nice. A spacious balcony. Hill view. Service: Service is best. Staff are very cooperative. Nearby activities: Bhagsu Nag Waterfall and Temple is just about 1.5 Km from the hotel. Kalachakra temple, Dalai Lama Temple, Buddhist temple complex are at 2-2.5 km from the hotel. You can go to Dharamshala via ropeway (Tata Skyway) Parking: Free Spacious parking at ground level.
