“Don’t be fooled by the 4-star rating! This hotel is a complete rip-off. The services advertised were all just empty promises. We were especially looking forward to using the pool, but it was filthy. When we asked the staff to clean it, they were incredibly rude and dismissive. It’s clear that they don’t care about their guests’ experience. I paid a fortune for this stay and left feeling completely scammed. I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere.”

Worst hotel in Katra without a doubt! Very very poor services. Their swimming pool has been filling since our two days stay at the hotel. Still not filled up. They charge a decent amount of charges for amenities like swimming pool but the guests cannot use the pool at all. Very poorly maintained rooms with broken balcony and shortage of charging points in the room. We decided to have foot massage done at the hotel premises by the masseuse. They were charging Rs.300 for 30 minutes but then they started washing their hands in 15 minutes and told us that we were done. Very unprofessional to say the least. This was my 7th visit to Katra and was very unsatisfied with the issues faced during the stay. Will never recommend this property which could have been so much better with a bit of renovation and a bit of professionalism. The only positive part was the breakfast where the staff was very courteous and served us very nicely with a smile. Overall, please avoid this property.

10/10 for hospitality and cleanliness. The hotel is located on Shiv Khori road. Really tasty food. Staff is very polite, modest, and cooperative. If we inform well in advance then the hotel provides pick up and drop facilities especially for Banganga and Tarakote Marg point while going towards or coming from Shree Mata Vaishnodevi Bhawan. The hotel location is very close to the main market/street where there are plenty of shopping options. Also, there are a lot of restaurants around to eat. The rooms in the hotel are not very big, but just enough space to place luggage and walk a bit. The most pleasing part of our stay was the courteous staff at the restaurant - especially Mohinder Sharma. He was very friendly, always smiling and willing to help. We were supposed to leave early on our day of departure and even though the usual breakfast time was around 8, he had some stuff prepared around 7-15 and ensured that we left after having our breakfast. this type of service lifts the experience. the rooms were clean as well. However, for the size of the room and the amenities provided, I felt it was a bit expensive as there are many other hotels around with better quality and reasonable pricing. Maybe they go by their old brand value.
