Hotel Kanshi Vishwa Nath

Could anyone please confirm who have recently visited that what is the condition of the rooms at present. Are they really in a condition for a possible stay,considering the washrooms and the smell issue as mentioned in the reviews.

Rooms are clean but a bit smelly, shabby and conjusted. Big parking area. On road location towards banganga entrance. Owner is of good nature but at the same time he is a bit cunning in nature.

The room allotted was not good from the cleanliness pov. Stains on wall and bathroom 🤢 say that they aren't cleaned properly. The only plus point of this hotel is LOCATION as it's quite near to banganga check post where the trek starts. Changed the hotel the next day after darshan. Room service was good. Water heating was also good.

We recently stayed at a budget hotel near Katra for Mata Vaishno Devi trek. The proximity to the trek start point 500m-1km is convenient. However, the room lacked maintenance; some blankets had an unpleasant odor, and colorful bedding raised cleanliness concerns. The washroom had a noticeable smell, and the floor felt sticky. I recommend trying the nearby Madhuban Saattvik Restaurant for good food. While the hotel's location is favorable for the trek, room issues and cleanliness should be considered... katra In JAMMU... .. .

Location very much on the main road accessible to all one's needs. Rooms needs to be refurbished, electrical works to be undertaken, staff response required, very cordial and helpful Manager who will go to any extent to help the boarders. Had a good time.

Only good thing about this hotel is that the location is very near to Banganga checkpost from where you have to start your journey to visit Shri Mata Vaishnodevi cave. Rooms are not properly swept, air conditioning not properly working, also the water heater not properly working. The person behind the check in desk only assures of all the above amenities but fails to provide either.

2 star for rooms, which was not clean, and lot of gutter smells. Service was better, 5 star for location as it near to the starting point of VaishnoDevi Ji trek and Has plenty of parking space.

It is a Good Hotel. Also has lots of parking space. Looks and view wise, it is okay but that is not the main thing. The best part is THAT THE HOTEL STAFF IS SUPER HELPFUL and they are very good and humble people who are ready to help you in any way possible. You won't believe that the HOTEL MANAGER HIMSELF DROPPED US TO THE RAILWAY STATION IN HIS CAR ON OUR WAY HOME! ALSO, THE RECEPTION AND HOUSE KEEPING BOYS WERE VERY HELPFUL AS WHEN I ASKED HIM IF MANCHURIAN WAS AVAILABLE OR NOT, THE BOY HIMSELF WENT TO A NEARBY RESTAURANT TO ASK ABOUT IT! *AND THAT HOSPITALITY IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER WITNESSED IN ANY HOTEL EVER!* Though I think that it was a 4 star overall experience, these humble people truly deserve more than the available 5 stars for their warmth itself! Was an experience to remember :)
