Triumph Houseboats

An extremely beautiful houseboat with serene ambience, luxurious interiors & very helpful & courteous staff. The help extended by Mr Maqbool during a medical emergency of a family member deserves special mention. The housekeeping staff actually drove us to a nearby hospital in his car and ensured we were taken care off. Little personal requests like bananas or curd were responded with so much care & compassion. While we were apologetic about the sheets due to vomiting the staff never made us feel they were uncomfortable with that. Its not the mountains or rivers or the snow that makes this valley a paradise on earth, it is the hearts of such generous & kind people who make it a heaven. Felt absolutely welcomed, inspiringly cared & thoroughly comforted. Thanks to Mr Arshad for all the hospitality and help.

I highly recommend this houseboat. I booked the houseboat for my parents and parents in law. The house boat is neat and clean. It is accessible both by shikara and road. Taxi can arrive near the boathouse which is a great plus. The view from balcony is stunning. Staff is very cooperative, Houseboat manager understood my parents need and made the accomodation accordingly. The dinner served to them was very tasty. There are like 3 to 4 house boat connected with each other. If you are coming together as a family of more than 4 adults, I would recommend calling them in the advance so that all the guests can stay in same houseboat.

The location is highly recommended as it was awesome experience and their service/food was good. The rooms were clean, except that at night A/c couldn't keep the room warm at night🥵 and winter was at it's peak 😔|..... But 😅 they provided enough blankets. Staffs were so genuine and humble. our trip was successful👍. I would love to go back there again in summer 🌞 ⛱️

Pros: Nice location and view from boat is spectacular ( see pics) 2. Rooms are spacious and clean. Washroom are neat and has a bathtub which you cannot use. 3. Boat helps are really nice and behavior with guest is very friendly. Cons: bedding needs improvement. Bedsheets and pillow cover was not clean. 2. Food quality can be improved, there was only one lady who was serving all 3 boats so service was slow. Since i stayed here only for a night.. i can say that stay was not great.

We went on a trip with friends for five days in Kashmir, we decided to stay on houseboat for two days with all of our friends and this was an amazing experience. Here the staff was so helpful. The owner was very insightful and friendly. He went out of his way to make sure that we have amazing experience of the beautiful city of Kashmir. I would highly recommend this place to all family, friends and couples who are visiting you might get many houseboat, but you won’t get this kind of experience it is a heritage property. One of the oldest and most beautiful house boat very clean. Every thing was available nearby. All the arrangements can be made in the house boats only. I totally loved it!!!!!

It was really bad experience here I was so excited to be here it was like most awaiting stay but unfortunately it became a blunder for me I am writing this review at 3.55 just imagine I am not sleeping whole night just because of the rat 🐀 I have my 2 kids and they are sleeping so I have to awake. This is so bad in service industry because it’s a basic hygiene I’ll never recommend anyone for this…..my whole stay is waste it’s not about money but if you are paying for your relaxation and good vacation then they should definitely refund the amount . Waste of time, energy, and off course money and rest is also not wow in this tariff you will get good hotels outside…

They are very money minded people. They don't want to spend money even on basic needs like hot water. There was no fan in the room making the stay a suffering. It made the houseboat experience worst for us. We didn't get hot water when we arrived. They give hot water only early mornings at 6 which was useless. They didn't give wifi for 6 hours saying they don't know the password. Staffs were not attending anyone. We had to keep searching for the staffs for basic queries. They painted the deck when we arrived and asked us not to sit at the deck as the paint is fresh. One staff was very rude. They should be blacklisted from this business. Even though they say that they have a parking that's useless as the connectivity is so bad that it's a struggle to reach this place by car. Worst food. They give just basic food which u can get on a road side food stalls. Food tasted so bad. No varieties in food. For non vegetarian they didn't leave any option. They are very cheap people who don't want to spend money even on basic needs. They serve food outside the houseboat in a tent. Such a bad experience for this price.

Lovely boat house with all the basic amenities, i like the hospitality and the view was magnificent Food was also tasty and fresh . ... Everything was smooth ....again would like to mention the food provided was delicious. |Rooms and the ambience was just too good.|Staff so helpful.|Special thanks to Mr.Arshid. He is gem of a person.He helped us in whatever possible way. And his dad is also soo good soo helpful gentle man.||Arranged everything on time according to us. We were 20people altogether. Amazing property Amazing people. Thumps up. Loved it.delicious.We enjoyed a lot and we would hope to visit again.
