NillI recently stayed at Hotel Sai Palace, Mangaluru, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. While the hotel has potential, there are several areas that need immediate attention. The staff's attitude was disappointing. They seemed indifferent to customer concerns and lacked the courtesy and attentiveness one would expect. My feedback was not taken seriously, which made me feel like my concerns were dismissed. The parking area was another letdown — it was not well-maintained and felt neglected, which detracted from the overall first impression of the property. For now, I would recommend potential guests consider these factors before booking. With better customer service and maintenance, this hotel could become a much more enjoyable place to stay.

★Recently on 11th of August, we had organised a function for a gathering of 145 guest here at Sai Palace Banquet Hall. Initially, when we had come for the enquiry of the hall, it was told to us that they hve the lowest buffet rates and the service that they provide was top class from their end. But on the function day we were really disappointed with the way, thr service provided to our guest. ||1) First and foremost the washrooms were stinking terribly and did not have water and were not at all clean. One of the worst thing was that, the guest who entered inside had to rush outside the way it was stinking. ||2) During the function when it came to the turn of serving starters to the guest, they had the pathetic service, it wasn’t served to everyone in the hall and the saddest thing is that the guest had to complain to the manager, he himself was not polite a person and had an ego of his own. He was not bothered even after client complained about it and just trying to give an excuse that they are going to prepare and serve in few minutes and then just escape.||3) We had 4 starters, Just imagine 3 staffs serving 145 people how will they manage to serve all the guest within 90 minutes. When they say it's a buffet, why don't they just get the starters in a bowl and place it on the round table as other Banquet Hotels do. ||4) Forget about the service staff, even the banquet manager was not well trained to supervise the distribution of starters and hence few guests ended up getting nothing.||5) According to the way they say "Reputed Hotel", the starters were served on a paper plates instead of Cutlery Plates. How disgusting the guest would hve felt looking at those paper plates placed on the round table being in "Reputed Hotel"?||6) As soon as the event got over the banquet manager came asking to pay the bill without the Invoice copy. He came in such a gesture as if the client will run away without paying. Back then, we have organised our other events in some of the Reputed banquet hotel like AJ Grand, Loft, Goldfinch. They hve better service and food compared to this one. Atleast they hve some courtesy to share the final invoice after a day or so and then ask us to make the payment. ||7) We had confirmed for 160 pax. Unfortunately we had 145 guest. And I agree we had to pay for the confirmed Order and I have paid it. At the same time, the hotel manager had to compensate us with a take away for the left over food b'coz it's Client's share for the price we have paid.

Nill1) The food is amazing and deserves a 10/10 rating. However, the prices are extremely high for the middle class and poor. 2) The service is excellent, but the person taking the order needs to smile more. I felt like I was in a job interview environment because the person seemed very serious. 3) Cleanliness: 10/10, Ambiance: 10/10

NillIt is a Botique Hotel, nice and clean rooms, language is a problem here, only Tulu and Kannada are widely spoken, I will suggest this hotel for a short stay, Bathroom does not have hand towels, they gave only two bath towels

NillWe went after Diwali.Stayed for 3 days.The room service and food was good.But while checking out,the valet damaged our car.The rear right side was banged.We came to Mumbai and had to spend a lot on repairs.We sent the hotel the bill but there has been no response.I am disgusted and would not recommend this place to anyone.

NillService ratings entirely I have given to 3 Suppliers Becouse they 3 supplier deserve it. They work very well. Other suppliers are delaying But I am truly unsatisfied and shame on management. Even their announcement of kitchen speaker is noising entire Udupi cafe. After very next day I went to sai palace go fishy I.e, On 2nd October with my family. They gave me menu we ordered after seeing the bill we all got double shock, 1. price is different from menu. We asked about that, they said 2 month before only they increased prices. They miss guiding customers. It's ok this is not much damaged to me. 2. Complaint number 2 is shameful incident in front of family. That was hidden in bill flip cover. I didn't say them anything, becouse they have build their restaurant too much broad mindly. Owner or management should take care about these things. Even this is not canteen or any local hotel like taj Mahal or ayodhya. That is their choice they should think. ( this post will be remaining till my issue get solved. Once they correct it I'll give five star. And I'll remove my comment ) because I want old Sai Palace. Not only me many people who regularly visit like me, all are willing to get service like before. Please don't naglet my comment. *Others who want to go they can go food is excellent.
