Hotel Mangalore International

A 6.30 am check in and departed again at 1.30 pm. Very thankful that we were allowed to catch some sleep and shower between long distance busses. Couldn’t find fault with the hotel in the small amount of time we were there. Comfy bed and excellent shower. A/c was perfect and room/suite was very spacious.

One of the worst hotels I've ever been in (can't believe it's a 3 star rated hotel) 1. Rooms are old and not maintained. Bugs and cockroaches crawled everywhere. Clealiness and hygiene big issue here. 2. There's no complementary breakfast nor even a bottle of water was provided free. 3. No room service. In my 3 nights stay here, the sheet was not changed once nor was the towel. The room was not swept once nor the dustbins cleared. 4. And it's really costly too.

Stay with cockroaches. We booked two ac rooms for two days, both the rooms had cockroaches. Old rooms and wall paints coming out. No proper maintenance. Ac not working, Waste of money , time and Holiday.

Stayed here for two days and here’s my detailed review of the experience: Room and Amenities: The economy AC room was tidy and clean, and the air conditioning worked very well, which was a relief in the summer heat. However, the room had only one wall-mounted light, and an additional light would have made it better lit. The TV offered only a couple of free channels, which is quite common in budget hotels. I didn't check the Wi-Fi, as most people, including myself, use mobile data nowadays. Hot water was available in the morning, making it convenient for a warm bath. Cleanliness: While the room was generally clean, there were some issues with the bathroom. There was a noticeable urine smell, likely due to inadequate cleaning. This was quite off-putting. Additionally, the bed sheets and blankets seemed not to have been washed well, or perhaps not at all, as there were visible blood stains on the bed sheet. Provided Items: The hotel provided basic toiletries, including a bath towel, shampoo, and soap. However, the wardrobe lacked hangers, which was a minor inconvenience. View: The view from the window wasn’t great, but this wasn’t a significant issue for me. Overall Experience: Despite some cleanliness issues, the hotel offers good value for money at around 1600 per day. I would recommend future guests to check the blankets and bed sheets before settling in!!

Hotel is located at the centre of the city and mall is just walking distance. Rooms were spacious and clean . Staff is friendly and helpful. Public transport is easily available in front of the hotel. Hotel staff's are so kind and friendly with guests they have cab facilities and parking and good view of manglore. I usually stay in this hotel when ever I go for manglore.

This place is good and in a very good area of manglore with major places for food and entertainment nearby. Almost opposite to the city center and next to the famous ideals cafe. We for a AC room at a decent price with some issue of overcharging attempt at reception. The room had old AC but was good enough for our stay. The rooms were decent and clean with room luggage delivery.If not the overcharging I dint have any issue with the place and maintained well.Allbamazing food places nearby and prices are much higher here in nearby hotels This was only one small issues and hotel is good otherwise. When we came to book I checked online with ibibo for AC room for 2 and saw price was 1300 so I thought I ll book in hotel as they don't have to give ibibo commissions. When I approached the reception and asked he said non AC room cost is 1800,I was shocked and told him 1300 for AC is online. He was rude enough to say book there only I dont know. Then after booking online made us wait for 10 mins saying it ll take time when no customers were around before sending to room.

Time to close... This is a best example for misleading people by putting a name'international'...! See the photos of a' 3 bed' room in this hotel @Rs 2600...pathetic.. Very old non maintained rooms with terrible shaking lift... See the photos.. They will tell you the truth..

As soon as we paid for the room we realised that we have made a big mistake. The receptionist asked for extra money for the rooms. We felt deceived and cheated. After a lot of reasoning, we were able to enter our rooms at the same payment. What do we see in the bathroom? Cockroaches! In the beds there were crawling and disgusting bugs. They were on the floor as well. The entire room smelled moldy and dusty. The furniture was damaged all over and the curtains seemed to not have been washed for over a decade. We were convinced that we have made a mistake in booking this room. No during the following two days of the stay, we had issues using the toilet, we could not sleep because of the bugs, we felt so depressed about the entire trip that our health was affected, we were anxious and depressed about the entire situation we were in. I cannot describe in words the ambience of this place. You may find far better hotels in the vicinity, that offer clean beddings, clean bathrooms, better room service, a functional landline that actually works, no seepage in the ceilings, no bugs or smell of mold, warm food and beverages in the rainy season, and last but not the least, a decent night of sleep and a feeling that Mangalore is such a great place. I and my family left the hotel with a bitter feeling and tons of regrets. I am definitely not coming to Mangalore again.
