Extremely Disappointing Stay – Not Recommended We had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel, and I would not recommend staying here. Upon entering the room, there was a terrible odor, and the overall hygiene of the room was extremely poor. To make matters worse, the hot water in the shower was not only scalding hot but also salty. When we reached out to the staff with our concerns, they were unresponsive and didn’t take us seriously, brushing it off as a "motor issue." Although we raised the problem late at night, we were still expecting some action, but nothing was done. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night, and it seemed as though the staff were indifferent, as if customers leaving at such hours due to complains were a usual occurrence. One staff member who heard our concerns told us he wasn’t actually part of the team, which was incredibly frustrating. After requesting to speak with someone in charge, two more staff members arrived, but they had no idea how to address our complaints or offer any explanation. This experience was extremely frustrating, and it left us with no choice but to check out immediately. The lack of care and professionalism from the staff made it clear that they were not equipped to handle even basic guest concerns. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I would strongly advise against staying here.

This hotel is disaster. We booked the Suite room, so apparently the best room in the hotel. - The bathroom was smelling from cigarettes and vomit smell the whole time. Apparently the filtration is older than the hotel itself, and dusty like a crazy. Don’t even look up to the ceiling. I was basically taking the bathroom visits only as fast as I could. - Shower and sink are full of mold. Really don’t better look. I don’t know what mess is falling on you with the water when you are showering. - The AC and its tubes are leaking. - The Suite room is outdated, but okay. But not clean. - Toilet paper received only after 2 requests, 24h after. - Wifi is not working in the rooms. They are lying if they say that it is. - Staff is never available, never helpful, rather ignoring, and pretending they don’t understand English. If you want check-in or have a requests, get ready for 30’ waiting on the reception, until somebody appears. And the worst is that when we arrived, we had a confirmed booking via Agoda. They said that they don’t have our reservation, and I should call customer service to cancel. When I mentioned that that it’s a mess, they told me IT’S NOT THEIR PROBLEM, BUT MINE! They offered the room for DOUBLE PRICE when booked direct. As it was last minute in high season, we accepted - but regret it ever since. Only good thing is 15’ walking distance to Fort Kochi.

I honestly had a good stay for more than a week during peak travel season at Fort Kochi. I was very skeptical looking at the reviews, but found this sweet deal through Flipkart (clear trip) for 10 days. Coming to hotel, it’s located opposite to the ferry boat services to Kochi, and Indian customs office. And to give you a sense, exactly mid way between fort kochi happening places and Mattancherry (Jew town). It’s a 2 star hotel, please don’t except any luxury. A room with bed, drinking water, AC, Washroom, Towel and soap. Nothing more like a 4 star or a 5 star hotel. Keep your expectations minimum. But the hotel could be lavish, it has a large unused roof top. And if services go up, it could be a great hotel. Staff for me were kind, and responsive. Although they struggled with English. So if you can be kind they’re welcoming and can help you.

We booked a stay at this place a few weeks ago and truly it was the worst hotel I've stayed in . The bedding looked like it hasn't been cleaned since months and bathroom was dirty no extra sheets or towels were provided. The AC was leaking and almost all the handles of the door were broken apart the moment we tried to open The staff wasn't cooperative at all. Honestly for this much rate it's better to book another place in fortkochi . The only positive aspect was the prime location

Don't book OYO rooms at all. They cancel your booking even after taking the full advance payment. I booked this hotel from 27th to 28th Dec 24 through Make My Trip making the full payment in advance. Hotel didn't bother to inform and cancel the booking. They will give rooms to anyone whomsoever pay higher price and don't bother about the booking already done. Thanks to Make My Trip who took the initiative to make an alternative arrangement. This is my second experience with OYO that they cancel booking. I would suggest never go for OYO rooms.

Being a regular Traveller into Cochin India,I've stayed in various hotels around the vacinity. I decided to book this premises for this trip 7nights.I must say this premises never failed to impress me.The suite room that I was staying in were beautifully kept so as the neatness and tidyness. I underwent 2 major brain surgeries and I am partially paralized,however upon my arrival I was with my walking stick n was weak after a long flight.I must say overall, I had been looked after so well by their valuable staffs in which I did not expect from a basic hotel.They were extremely kind and always checking up on me to ensure that I am ok and my stay was comfortable. Mr Nimson has proven to be a very valuable asset for the premises as a hotel manager so as Mr Shihab and Althaf that were there for me anytime I needed help. I strongly recommend this hotel as price wise it's very affordable and their rooms are super clean bathrooms were clean and neat and not to mention their staffs very attentive to all guests. I'll be returning in 2 weeks time and I'll be most definitely be staying in this premises again. Very Highly recommended

Bad experience! We booked on booking.com and had booking confirmation (we had a discounted booking.com rate). Booking.com said the full price was able to be paid at the hotel. I received booking.com confirmation, as well as a message from the hotel confirming our booking. I phoned them after an hour in traffic to reach them at 4pm on the day of our booking and they said they had no rooms and couldn’t accommodate us (only AFTER asking us what the booking reservation price quote was). They said we must have had a cancellation message from booking.com (there was none). The man on the phone would not admit fault. We were very unhappy after an hour in a rickshaw to get there only to hve our “confirmed booking” rescinded. In my opinion I suspect they selectively cancel bookings that achieve discounted rates on booking.com. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Save yourself the hassle
